Getting there wasn't the problem, Doug...The Double Door is public transportation accessible, but I don't drive and getting home could've been tough if Passive Aggressor's set ran into the wee hours of the morning. Many buses stop running after a certain time at night, and in case anyone has not read or heard, the CTA is reducing service on a number of buses & "L" trains come February 7th.

You were missed SHARK for sure. Everyone was asking about you at some point.
PA's set was over in time for Franks date.

Beni, the disembodied voice of CTA has been making this announcement for a couple weeks...I thought I was giving CSFMB members a heads up ahead of time...

SHARK, I feel your pain. I did make it to the Double Door, located in the center of the Near North Chicago neighborhood known as Wicker Park, but I knew that I had to cut my party time short as I wanted to avoid being stuck out in the mean streets. While one of my trains, The Blue Line, formerly known as the Congress-Douglas-O'hare train, runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the connecting train known as The Green Line stops around 1 AM. I left Big Fan, Rogers Park Bryan, and a host of others at the Tavern on North Avenue and Damen at 12:15 AM and ran as fast as I could to the North/Damen stop. I barely made it onto the train. I took a chance of hurting my arm by placing it in the door as it was closing, but luckily the double doors (Not to be confused with the aforemtioned "Double Door" where Doug's Band known as Passive Agressor played earlier that night) re-opened, allowing me entrance into the train. In the end, I connected to my Green Line train at the Clark/Lake station and I made it to the end of the Line, known as Harlem/Lake by 1:00 sharp. Talk about a close call!

And you did sir. I wasn't trying to be a smart ass. I didn't know this bit of information and appreciated that SHARK update.

The 8 PM start time was broadcast well through all CSFMB media outlets. Wish I had a different life than the one I currently lead as that was my best chance to see PA live as opposed to myspace productions.

Doooh! Had a feeling about that. Chianti (sorry, not a wine snob)
I'm looking around the corner and under the bed for Lecter.
