Obviously and in general

Don Tiny said it perfectly so Ill just quote him here.
I want Boers to win Douchebag of the year so thats why im posting it in this section

Well Done Don Tiny

Don Tiny wrote:
Terry should be embarrassed with the way he comported himself during transition, particularly with how he treated his alleged friend Mac. Terry's attitude might have been appropriate had he, for example, been viciously raped at a roast or suffered some other personal travesty like that.

But that was just A-#1 self-centered penis behavior.

What kind of mental midget couldn't at least entertain the possibility that Mac was paying for the table, since it was suggested as a reasonable possibility FOUR FUCKING TIMES IN PLAIN ENGLISH. He makes fun of LaRussa for conveniently ignoring the virtually obvious, but then turns around and spews that crap during transition. Kiss my ass; he was being pissy because he wanted to be pissy and he doesn't have to explain to anyone why he's pissy and they damn well better accept it because he says so. All he needed was a fucking fungo bat and the entire joke would have been complete.

Incidentally, - what skin is it off Terry's ass if Mac was comped for 12 tables? That question doesn't seem to have been asked yet, and I think it would really give the answer behind all of this nonsense on Boers' part.

He's also pissy because he (apparently) didn't have a choice? Really? You get pissed if the boss says you have to work 12-hour shifts on Saturdays for the next two months for free ... you get pissed if at the last minute you're told to get out of bed at 3am to catch a flight to Medicine Hat to stroke some half-ass client ... you don't get pissed because you HAVE to attend a roast in honor of your 10-year run on sports radio.

Don't like it? Tough shit; sit there like a humorless mugwump for, say, six hours, then go home and tell your wife you love her and thank the fates your biggest complaint is that you had to go listen to asswipes make lame jokes about you one Friday evening in the dead of winter.

Jesus Christ ... I've tried to rationalize Terry being Terry time and again, but today's antics completely pissed me off and his behavior has no reasonable defense. Irrespective of the fact that he shit his own nest with asswipes like us on this accursed messageboard, it's terribly sad that he clearly has wounded at least one of the people who give a real rat's ass about him.

Comparing Terry to a 12-year old isn't really apt, since there's a chance that the 12-year old will grow up.

 I love the reaction Terry gets around here. It makes listening to B&B and being on this board all the more fun.

I agree RFDC that this board is 10x better with drama. Hopefully this DB of the Year nominee has the staying power come December

A lot of what Boers says and does is part of the act.

This however, is clearly not. Really annoying stuff by Terry. Perfectly explained by Don Tiny.

Im almost starting to feel sorry for Boers. The more you think about it...he has to have some sort of chemical inbalance or something.

He seems legitimately scared of this roast.

Maybe he has social anxiety disorder. He should do the roast while wearing a football helmet, like Rickey Williams used to do in interviews.

Dbag of the year? No chance.

McGwire and LaRusa have that wrapped up already.

OKC is not going to like this thread, I am surprised he has not voiced his displeasure already.

I won't participate in the vote, but I am quite disappointed in TB's behavior today.

But I still love Terry Boers. He's a complicated man...often I've been accused of the same.

Well I just listened to the transition. Yeah Terry was a big bitch today. There is no way he did not hear that Dan was buying the table.

But much like my fellow ALSer OKC, I still love Terry and he is a big reason why I tune into this show so often.

I could really careless why people tune out. The ratings show that B&B are doing just fine. If you don't like him, then by all means tune it out.

Agreed and that is why I do a lot - problem is I like Danny and can't stand the saloon. I'm in the car all day so I tend to PTFB often - I go up and down the AM dial a lot.

Terry is an uncomfortable person. It is part of why I like him. But today was bad.

I particularly liked when he was ripping on all of the "experts" they've had on who never saw any of the games they were asked about.

Has Terry actually watched a full game of any sport in the past 5 years?

B&B's ratings are what they are because they have horseshit competition. Going up against the Saloon on AM1000 is the equivalent of playing the Detroit Lions. It s an easy victory.

I really wonder what the hell happened to Boers the last few years to make him so bitter & hateful towards everyone? He makes Murph look like a pussycat.

Seems to me most of the time Boers is pissy to be pissy...and I thought I invented that personality trait.

If you listen to the show enough, you will hear him talk about players and games and all sorts of things that there is no way he would know about unless he actually watched games. He may not actually go to sporting events any longer, but I am completely confident he watches a bunch of sports.
