It was a great segment. For those of you that want to give it a listen it started at about 11:40. Make him a regular. I love it.

I enjoyed it. Good change of pace.

OPV was good...I don't care what Goff thinks about football...basketball, yes.

Vandy was one of the best callers Boers and I used to have and I'll make no apologies for putting a "star caller" on the air. He's on our bench as a sub host and getting him on the air with his bulging NFL notebook is good for everybody. Trying to get in more emails, Doug. It's a work in progress.

Don't get me started on that subject Crosscheck. Im resigned to the fate the days of goons, enforcers , the Proberts, Kocurs, Tie Domi's are gone the way of the red line. Still think the Hawks need a big tough defencemen and after Saturday Im not sold on our netmiders for a playoff grind or facing teams like the Canucks, Sharks, Wings (they will get healthy and look out) or a team like the Preds in a 7 game series.

Mac's the hockey guy at the station and he knows the game better than me and I'm not a guy who would come off as smooth as Vandy as my bulging puck bag doesn't have the flight miles Vando does. I don't remember the last time I called into a show but maybe I'll change that soon and dial up Mac and Spiegs and talk pucks .

I kind of agreed with Vandy when he said the championship games need to start at normal times during the regular season like 12/1 and 3:30/4:30.

I will take OPV over Mully and Hanleys personal GM Dr. Khevorkian! Vandy has some good obscure game notes.
