for getting the whole conan obrien story. if mac actually watched conan he would realize conan is very much the same kinda guy he is. both mac and conan are always positive, they dont hold grudges and theyre both funny as hell.

Further, they were both fired because of low ratings.

Never thought of that angle, seems unlikely with how much Spiegs tried to play mediator between Mac and TB. Interesting though. :?:

This will ensure B&B is good this week. They usually perform admirably after being woken up.

Hopefully that decision works out for NBC like it did for ESPN 1000.

Conan is right on the money. Holding grudges & resenting others is bad for ones health & career. Conan & Boers couldn't be more opposite.

I don't dislike Conan at all.... I just haven't watched. I don't watch much past 10:30 during the week 'cuz I'm out. It's been my habit to catch the first two segments of Letterman (Ball State tribal loyalty and all) then I'm gone. I wasn't fired for ratings, LBL; I was fired because 1) I made too much money in a recession and 2) I was willing to stand up to ESPN for "forcing" Bristolish groupthink on us. Thank for playing, however.

My thoughts exactly about attending a gamers convention. That's some excitement right there!

That'd make sense maybe if ESPN 1000 didn't pay for the remainder of the contract post-firing, including bonuses for CJH winning
the time slot post-firing. If they wanted to save money, they'd have let ya finish out your contract on-air which would've meant no bonus pay outs for winning the time slot.

DaMaNa gets a WYC tickat...

Factually speaking, NearWesside.... the option year, which they declined, was scheduled to begin in May. WYC? yourself, my man.
