I heard from Dave Miska via FB(sorry to bring FB to the board again) that Wild Bill has passed away. I will always think of him when I hear the jeopardy music for "Sports Jeopardy" or when I hear a caller with phlegm.

We'll miss ya Bill, R.I.P.

Edit: Oops, already posted by Pasta, my bad.

That's OK. I think WB was a pioneer of all that is local sportsradio. I enjoyed his call-ins...RIP

One of the most vociferous, astutical, entertainingfull figures in sports talk history!

I do know he was a chef in Hyde Park somewhere, but thats all I got

... And Patio Steve and Raffy from Berwyn.

As to Bill, I heard that he was a jail guard. He was both funny and an acquired skill to listen/understand. A real shame.

RIP

Wow, that sucks. As Crosscheck, he was one of the few guys I remember the name from years of listening.

I always seemed to hear him on holidays. His calls were not good but they were fun.

I hated that guy. I used to love when Terry would rip on the Irish and get an immediate call from bill.

The Scorehead Sox outing in 1993 I sat next to Wild Bill on the bus back to the bar we all met at. Had a great fun conversation with him. Talked to him at a few things over the years.
