Douchebag, WGN's CW9 doesn't just want to preempt "One Tree Hill". I thought I've mentioned this before, but if not, it bears repeating. Bosses of the CW Network, much like their predecessor the WB Network, absolutely hate it when their shows are pre-empted in Chicago by sports that WGN carries. They feel their ratings are hurt when the nation's #3 market isn't airing their shows as scheduled like everywhere else. That also explains why WCIU 26 The U is still a player when it comes to airing sports during the week, even if it means their own shows are pre-empted to accommodate the Cubs, White Sox & Bulls that WGN
still produces. In plain English, it's a sign of the times that WGN won't be airing as many Cub or Sox games as they used to have.
