I've got a bad feeling it will be Stuart Scott but I hope ESPN hires somebody that isn't currenlty working for them. They don't have good options right now.

Stuart Scott kind of splits the MNF pregame with Berman now anyway. Berman is in the studio with his crew and Stu has a crew at the stadium.

Is there a reason Kenny Mayne isnt featured more on this network? I think he's the most hilarious guy they have, and he never seems to get the shot to be "the guy" there. I don't watch ESPN, but if I see him on there I will usually stick around for a few minutes.

Maybe. I'd take him over Stuart Scott. I think ESPN will give it to Stu cuz he'll want it and they think he's great. It's a lot of money for that Sunday and Monday pregame host.

Please no Stuart Scott. This guy couldn't be more self aware if he tried. I'd rather have Berman or Wingo.

When it comes to sports reporting on tv, I now wish the world was filled with Rich Kings. No not Rich Kings like Henry VII or Louis XIV, but Rich King of WGN. Strong Vanilla (I once created a CAW on NO Mercy named Strong Vanilla) who just give me the scores. I'll admit I use to get a kick out Olberman and Patrick along with Kilborn. Now everyone just tries to out cute one another. These days no one makes me cringe more than Robert Flores and his forced Wu references. In my best Pat Summerall voice, "Just say what happened and get out of there."

I don't care who replaces him as I will not be tuning in no matter who it is. I stopped watching pregame stuff a long time ago.

Stuart "Booyah Boy" Scott already has a presence as host of ESPN/ABC Sports' "NBA Countdown" in addition to his duties on "Monday Night Football" from the stadium during football season. Guess what, folks? Unless ESPN finds someone with a high "Q" rating, "Booyah Boy's" the likely replacement for Chris Berman on "Sunday NFL Countdown" & "Monday Night Countdown" whether you & I like it or not...

He would bring the best out of Steve Young, and vice versa.

Just as long as it's not Stuart Scott and his fucked up eyebrow. What the fuck's the deal with that anyway? It's very disturbing. I thought tv was all about cosmetics.

As long as fat ass and his Bozo T. Clown yak hair is gone. And like someone else said, I don't watch it anyway.

Guys, barring an upset, I fully believe ESPN will name Stuart "Booyah Boy" Scott as new host of "Sunday NFL Countdown" and will be reassigned to the Bristol, CT studio for "Monday Night Countdown" before ESPN's exclusive broadcast this fall, whether we like it or not. As for the "fucked up eyebrow", unless he's trying to imitate Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson from his WWE days, Stuart actually injured his eyes during a story he did I believe at the New York Jets' training camp in Hempstead, NY many years ago...

Doug, I'd have no trouble with John leaving his seat on ESPN's "Sports Reporters" Sunday morning and having him replace Chris Berman on "Countdown". ESPN bosses aren't about to listen to us though.

John Saunders would actually be a pretty good choice. He does solid work.

The only reason I know who they are, and get the lyrical reference, is because that song was in MLB 03...or 04, I can't remember.

Not going to happen.

I'm leaning toward this as well. Berman represents everything that is bad about ESPN. He will die in Bristol.
