I thought everyone would like that. Maybe even Chas?!? It allowed me to find an easy spot for Hunter as well.

Sadly enough, I was able to put that card together in about 15 minutes. I still think it is pretty damn good. If you add in Chas FINALLY getting his shot at Hunter, main event top to bottom for two days.

It was tough putting the Road Warriors and Steiners in the final. I wanted as many matches that hadn't happened as possible. But, that is the tag team goods right there. Arn and Tully were amazing as well. Wow, I am not this big of a nerd in my regular life.

sting was wcw during the late 80's through mid 90's from his bleech blond image to his crow look. his fueds ranged from hogan, savage luger, flair, horesman, vader, muta. cactus jake, and many others nwa/wcw brought him into make a name in the company. He was the ultimate face for over a decade and then went tp the best tweener wrestling star has ever seen with his crow image during the nwo birth in wcw. he had the mic skills and wrestling skills to back it up. if he had ever made it to the "E" during his hay day you could of put him in the same image as stone cold, rock, dx and company for merch sold.....but wcw didnt know how to push that aspect of their stars....that what the man called sting has done

from http://prowrestling.about.com/od/tnawre ... /sting.htm
.

Steve Borden was born on March 20, 1959 in Omaha, NE. In 1985, he started his career as part of a group of four bodybuilders known as Powerteam USA and they were trained by Rick Bassman. One of the men was the Ultimate Warrior. They went to Memphis together as the Bladerunners. Sting’s name was Flash in Tennessee and he became Sting when they moved to the UWF. Sting became one of the top stars in the UWF before it was sold in 1987.
A New Superstar:

Sting became a star at the first Clash of Champions when he fought Ric Flair to a 45 minute draw. He was a top face in the company and won the Crockett Cup with Lex Luger. In 1989, he became Ric Flair’s partner in their feud against the Great Muta and Terry Funk. In early 1990, Sting became a member of the Four Horsemen but he was quickly kicked out for signing for a match against Flair for the title.
Ruptured Patella and The Black Scorpion:

On the night he was kicked out of the Four Horsemen, Sting injured his knee while trying to enter a steel cage to get to Ric Flair. After being out of action for almost half a year, he beat Ric Flair in his return to become the new champ. His first title reign was marred by some of the worst booking ever as he feuded with the Black Scorpion. He lost the title back to Flair in January 2001.
How did WCW Stay in Business so Long?:

Sting regained the title from his former friend Lex Luger. He then feuded with the Dangerous Alliance and Big Van Vader. Around this time, Sting starred in three very expensive vignettes featuring Cheetum the 1- eyed-midget who taunted Sting about his opponents Jake Roberts & Vader and later blew up his boat. In addition, it seemed that everyone who teamed with Sting would eventually turn on him.
The New World Order:

When WCW was invaded by the NWO, Sting was the best chance to save WCW. The NWO created a fake Sting that fooled his partners and the fans. Sting was upset that everyone thought he turned bad and he underwent a strange transformation. Gone was the short-haired surfer-dude in bright spandex. Sting returned as mysterious figure. He looked like the Crow and spent most of the year in the rafters with a bat and his bird.
Starrcade '97:

Sting faced Hulk Hogan at Starrcade '97 in the most anticipated match in the company’s history. The ending is still a baffling mystery to fans to this day as there was supposedly a fast count that caused the match to be restarted. The NWO soon split into two factions and Sting joined the good-guy Red and Black Wolfpack. In 1999, Sting tried a heel turn but the fans wouldn’t accept him as a bad guy.
The End of WCW:

In 2000, Sting feuded with Vampiro and was later injured by Scott Steiner. He wasn’t seen from again until the final Nitro match when he beat Ric Flair in a re-match from the very first Nitro. Without a doubt, Sting is the most famous wrestler of this era to have never worked for Vince McMahon. During the end of his WCW run, he became born again and has written a book and made a DVD about the experience called Sting: Moment of Truth.
Post WCW:

After the sale of WCW, Sting wrestled sporadically for the World Wrestling Allstars and for TNA. After years of random appearances for the company, Sting signed a one year deal to wrestle for TNA in 2006. That deal has been extended several times and he has gone on to win the World Championship at three consecutive Bound for Glory events. After losing to AJ Styles at Bound for Glory 2009, Sting left fans wondering whether that was the final match of his career.

Just to confirm my stance, I am a HUGE Sting fan. I was messing with The Original. He is, and was awesome.

Honestly, Sting deserves his own thread. I'm not just saying that Original. At Bound for Glory, the Park District looking Sears Center (Shark Bite) was great. I was leading a cheer of "Sting's Gonna Kill You" against Samoa Joe. I was a HUGE Sting mark as a kid.

Best match of the thread so far!

I assume Chaspop would win after a Super Top-Rope Spinning DDT though a flaming Barbed-Wire table into an alligator pit.

all those cards are awesome. i like the concept of a 2 day tournament and also kuj's

-street fight/ brand fight till the end elaimantion match

eric b and hogan v. vince and HHH v. JJ and nut foley v. rvd and paul h

anyone remember the Crockett Cup? Those were awesome:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Crocke ... Tournament

List of winners

* 1986: The Road Warriors (Animal and Hawk)
* 1987: The Super Powers (Nikita Koloff and Dusty Rhodes)
* 1988: Lex Luger and Sting

I also remember they tried the iron man tournament at one starrcade with muta, flair, sting and luger and flair had muta completely buried losing every match. i loved the idea but the execution was terrible.

I'm pretty sure Muta was on his way out, back to Japan. Hence he did the anti-Bret Hart on the way out.

I will go to the resident expert Bob Loblaw. I'm 95% sure Muta was already on this way out, which is why he was jobbing like Horowitz. He didn't leave because he was getting buried. Thoughts?

I believe you're right. Muta was likely on his way out. That was Starrcade '89 and if I'm not mistaken, that was his last appearance in WCW for several years (with the exception of some of the NJPW vs. WCW PPVs they did).

If anyone doesn't have 24/7, even though they have Comcast, call and order. It is worth the money. I can't believe they are focusing on the Great Muta?!? Very un-WWE like, but awesome.

Yeah, Muta certainly deserves it. I hope they're not just gonna focus on his U.S. stuff, because his matches in Japan as Keiji Mutoh were probably even better. There's one against Owen Hart that was unbelievable.

I'm certain they are not grabbing his best matches. Still great and surprising considering he never set foot in a WWF/E ring.

You've got to be kidding me. 24/7 is awesome. I like the roundtable things they do the best. I switched to Directv since comcast didn't have hdnet so i could see the ROH show, so now no 24/7...and then directv gets rid of vs. and now the have Muta month? There a conspiracy against me i think.

I'm reading Gary Hart's book right now and it's awesome (top 5 easily). There is an entire chapter devoted to Muta but I haven't got that far yet. He does bury Sting quite a bit in the book. He also mentions he and Muta got an offer to go to wwf to feud with warrior. Muta's work visa was sponsored by wcw so if he had jumped ship from wcw, they would have pulled his visa and/or buried him on the way out so they didn't go at the time. Maybe the visa thing had something to do with him leaving but not sure, will have to see what Gary Hart's version of why is. SOunds like a lot of bad Flair booking got him buried.

Hart completely invented the Muta character. He had The Great Kabuki years prior and booker George Scott asked Gary to create a "new" Kabuki. He grabbed some job guy named Super Black Ninja he had seen on tv and made him into The Great Muta, the son of Kabuki. Muta goes on to become one of the best in the world and Gary goes largely forgotten by most since he never got a run with Vince.

I remember when Gary Hart was a Colorado Senator who ran for President and he got caught partying with some chick on a boat. I believe that inspired the hit song "Boats and Hos".

1. In a match to determine the #1 contenders for the tag team titles......
Rey Mysterio Jr. & Eddy Guerrero V. Dean Malenko & Chris Benoit (W/Arn Anderson)

After some tremendous back and forth action, Mysterio & Guerrero get the pinfall when Arn Anderson inadvertently gives Malenko a spine buster. This allows Mysterio to hit a hurracanranna on the charging Benoit and then make the tag to Guerrero who nails the frog splash on Malenko to get the win.

2. In a Hair V. Hair match......
Mr. Perfect V. The Lionheart Chris Jericho (W/Ralphus)

Jericho has the Liontamer locked in and Perfect taps, but the ref is distracted by Ralphus who thinks Jericho is calling for him. Jericho lets go and begins to berate Ralphus. Perfect approaches, turns Jericho around and hits the perfect plex for the 1 2 3. Post match, Perfect teases the crowd by offering the clippers to Ralphus. Ralphus accepts and the crowd is going nuts, but before he can take the shears to Jericho's mane, Perfect decks him and lays him out. Perfect shakes Jericho's hand and the two leave together and go on to form one of the greatest tag teams of all time.

3. In a titles V. titles match to determine tag team supremacy...
The Steiner Bros V. The British Bulldogs (Took the idea from OKC)

The Steiners have Davey Boy set for the Steiner line when out of nowhere The Dynamite Kid comes in with the flying headbutt on Ric Steiner. Davey Boy then takes Scott off the top rope and hits the running power slam to score the pin.

4. Who is the greatest technical wrestler of all time? In a 60 minute Iron Man Match in a cage (Blue one from the 80's).....

Bret Hart V. Kurt Angle
The Hitman gets the first win after hitting a bulldog. Angle comes back to tie things up with the ankle lock after fending off the Sharpshooter. Hart then gets a submission after a superplex and the Sharpshooter. Angle next scores a pin after hitting a moonsault off the top of the cage. Battered and bloodied, the two put on display of mat wrestling for the ages. Time expires and the contest is ruled a draw.

5. In a falls count anywhere Monster's Ball Match to crown the one and only true hardcore champion...
Cactus Jack V. Abyss V. Terry Funk V. Bruiser Brody

Both Brody & Foley brawl off the stage through a flaming barbed wire table thus taking each other out. The Funker takes home the belt after assailing Abyss with chairshots that would make Masato Tanaka cringe.

6. The greatest display of athleticism you'll ever see in a wrestling ring...
A.J. Styles V. Ricky The Dragon Steamboat

Near fall after near fall, finally Styles kicks out of a small package and nails the Pele. He picks Steamboat up and delivers the Styles clash to end what will steal the show. Somewhere in the back, Hogan is pissed.

7. In a fatal 4 way to determine the #1 contender for the World Title...........
Macho Man V. Samoa Joe V. RVD V. The Rock

The Rock is dazed upon the canvass, this allows Samoa Joe to hit the Muscle Buster on RVD. As Joe celebrates, The Rock kicks up and lays Joe out with the Rock Bottom. Macho Man who had been lurking on the floor takes the opportunity to land the flying elbow on RVD to get the victory and a shot at the title. The Rock looks on in disbelief.

8. The loyalty & attitude of the WWF takes on the heart & soul of WCW in a 2 out 3 falls tag match.....
The Undertaker (W/Paul Bearer) & HBK V. Ric Flair & Sting.

I can't book a winner in this matchup.

9. The main event to end main events......
The Immortal Hulk Hogan V. Stone Cold Steve Austin with Vince McMahon as special guest referee.

Hogan gets the big boot and hits Austin with not one, but two leg drops. McMahon attempts a fast count, yet Austin still manages to kick out. Hogan gives a look of disapproval to McMahon. Austin battles back and just when Hogan starts to Hulk Up once again, Kick Wham Stunner. McMahon with a typical McMahon disgusted face, has no choice but to count the 1 2 3 in the center of the ring. "AUSTIN WINS! AUSTIN WINS! BY GAWD, AUSTIN WINS!"

Damn West46thStreet, that card is MONEY! My only complaint is that guy in your opening match. Couldn't you team Malenko with William Regal or even Lance Storm?

I know, I know. But if we're taking everyone in their prime then Benoit has to be in to ensure the best card possible. His tag team with Malenko was great. Now onto serious business, how would you book the Undertaker/HBK v Flair/Sting match? I've been thinking about it for days and just can't come up with a good scenario that this match would deserve.

I hate to say it but looking at those four guys, the one likely doing the job would be Flair. You could do a finish where all four guys are in the ring but Taker and Flair are legal. Taker gets a Tombstone on Flair while Sting reverses the Sweet Chin Music into the Scorpion Deathlock. Shawn's tapping out while Taker's going for the pin on Flair. Since Sting's not the legal man, the referee counts Flair's shoulders down. Winners: Undertaker & Shawn Michaels.

Post-match, Sting refuses to release the Scorpion Deathlock and Shawn is writhing in pain. Taker is about to walk out but he changes his mind and snatches Sting off Shawn. The two have a big staredown in the ring but before any altercation can happen, referees and agents separate the two.

That's pretty damn good booking. I like how you played off the animosity between Taker and HBK. He's loyalty to the WWF would have to win out. I'm shocked though, as I would have bet anything that you would have put WCW over.

Kid.

What up with the CSFMB Wrestling Federation? From the looks of it, you'd be able to put a show together in like 5 minutes...
