You would think this is another one of those games the Bulls should be able to beat, given the fact the Bill O'Reilly-looking Jim O'Brien and his Pacers are well under .500 at 18-33 going into Conseco Fieldhouse this eve. Unfortunately, the last time the Bulls were on WCIU 26, they were on the road vs. another sub .500 team in Philadelphia, only to lose in OT. U'z got another Bulls' loss? I hope not...

What does the broadcast channel have to do with the game??

The Bulls have dropped 17 out of the last 19 in Indiana (most at Conseco). That's a compelling trend. I'm sure most of the players have no idea what channel the game is on and could give a rat's ass.

It wasn't really the channel, NSJ, as it was the opponent. For the Bulls to be a playoff team again, they need to beat teams below them in the standings. Besides, if it was about the U, their record in recent years on WCIU hasn't been too good anyway.

i don't care about the bulls so long as they don't interfere with stooge-a-palooza on saturday nights.

No need to worry. WCIU never pre-empts "Stooge-A-Palooza" on Saturday nights. They are this week though for the broadcast premiere of "The Mark of Zorro". The Catherine Zeta-Jones movie from 1998 premieres this Saturday night at 7p on 26. Moe, Larry, Curley, Shemp and regretfully Joe Besser move over to WWME 23, the Weigel-owned station known as Me TV, this weekend.

DIRECTV has Me TV, but doesn't have Weigel's other Me channel, WMEU 48 Me TOO, Hatchetman. :( I'm not too disappointed...

im sure youre completely wrong. it happens in every sport. they know EXACTLY when they will be playing national televised games. you even hear the players talk about it. especially the NBA where its all just a bunch of ME ME ME titty suckers... for a game like tonight the bulls LOSE because they either think they dont have to try, or they just dont care because nobody is really watching. or both.

looks like this game will be available online tonight, but the quality isnt promising with a 140kbs stream. http://myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=65976&part=sports

Stacey King had an epic gem in there. He was talkin bout how Grainger numbers are deceptive and that he takes too many jumpers. Funk tell him in all fairness he has 25pts and 10 rebounds. King replies with yea but those rebounds are coming off missed shots :?

ive watched alot of broadcasts from the other teams this year but the pacers one broadcaster is one of the worst ive heard all year. maybe even worse than stacey king in terms of saying stupid shit. very cringe worthy. my favorite was him going on about how taj gibson is not a good defender and has been a turnover machine all season

stacy king is awesome. he doesnt say that much stupid stuff, a lot of times he has a hard time putting what hes thinking into the right words, but who cares. the guy has more basketball smarts then our coach, he's freakin hilarious and always positive, and i LOVE LOVE LOVE how he give funk a hard time, kidding of course. its just a great listen even if youre not watching the game.

Stacey King is miles above what we had to suffer through with the last 5 years of Red Kerr. He does offer some good analysis, but his homer-ness can be a little over the top sometime. He complains about the officiating way too much. Sometimes it is warranted and sometimes it is downright ridiculous.

Why ya gotta trash Red Kerr in this deal? Is it not enough that he and all his kids were buried on the same day?

he's a coach though, so he will always be keen on what the refs are doing. i love his homerness... i really dont think its over the top at all. i like when he actively tries to degrade the other team, it makes me feel like a tried and true bull fan.

dont get me wrong i really enjoy stacey king. hes one of my favorite chicago broadcasters. i just think he says alot of dumb stuff. most of it is hillariously dumb. and yes he is very much a homer which doesnt really bother me. i think local broadcasters should be fans of the team theyre working for.

The homer-ness doesn't bother me too much, but when it carries over to complaining about officiating when the right call was obviously made, it gets a little annoying. He approaches 'Hawk' status at times with that kind of stuff.
