I don't like how they are handling this. Let him rest for the next few weeks.

This 6 minutes a game nonsense is not working for noah and his health come playoff time. Give him 6 weeks off and go sign a body.

I agree. It didn't make any sense to me when they cut Chris Richard last week. The only true big man they have right now is Miller. This season means nothing. I would sit Noah the rest of the season, re-sign Richard, and bring Noah back for the playoffs if they make it.

Agreed, and at some point, they are going to shut him down. If he can't play more than 7 minutes in a game, why is he out there? He needs to be shut down for at least a month. Bring him back around April 1st, assuming he's healthy (or healthier), and slowly build up his minutes for the playoffs.

In theory I agree with these statements. The problem is they have an achy Brad Miller and Plantar fascia victim #2 Taj Gibson as the only other true big men. Those two along with a smallish Warrick aren't enough to get it done until the playoffs. Miller/Gibson will be in traction come mid April if someone else doesn't pick up some minutes. If James Johnson can pull his head out of his ass figure out what is going on he may be able to fill in the 15 - 20 minutes per night they desperately need (this is a stretch I know).

Noah shouldn't play, but they need him to play. Face it...we need the PANTHER back! :)

Have you seen his games, or are you going by his numbers? His "numbers" always could be good. It was his basketball intelligence is what always killed the Bulls. You can't have a weak link on the Bulls. Other teams abused him, and his offense is not good enough to justify keeping him on the court. It would be fun to see his court presence improve so he stays on the court more. He was a fun highlight reel waiting to happen.

The SCORE's Connor McKnight wrote a blog today about Joakim Noah at 670thescore.com. You'll find it "Under the Boards" by the way. Connor pondered not only head coach Vinny Del Negro playing a small lineup in last night's 120-110 Bulls' win over the Pacers, but the effectiveness of playing #13 in very limited action off the bench with plantar fasciitis. While Connor mentioned Joakim's conditioning playing less than 10 minutes per game, he also mentions the tougher schedule the Bulls will be dealing with in March and whether or not #13 should even be playing until he fully recovers.

I left a thought after reading Connor's blog, and I feel Noah should be sitting until he fully recovers from this injury that I don't think is going away anytime soon. Joakim had 5 points, 2 rebounds in just 7 minutes last night. That's not good enough, and the Noah I want to see is the one who was good in that 7 game NBA 1st Round Playoff series vs. the Celtics and the one who was getting double-doubles in points & rebounding consistently to start this season. The one we're seeing now isn't nearly as effective.
