What is he supposed to say, "No, I wan't a new coach"? That wouldn't be the best course of action. If he says "I'd rather not talk about that" it would still be devisive. He said what he was supposed to say. The PC thing. I guess we'll find out how he truely feels after Vinny is gone...

Exactly. This is all he really can say. He is not the kind of guy who is going to throw the coach under the bus.

This is the kind of thinking that will get Rose a position in the front office of Jordan's Bobcats when he's done playing.

I think Vinnie will be back next year, especially with this recent success of the Bull--whether or not VDN has anything to do with it.

It's a players' league, so if D-Rose is OK with Vinnie (and I think he is), it'll be OK with possible free agents as well.

I think the chance of playing with D-Rose outweighs how a player would feel about Vinnie as his future coach. If the Bulls were to get a significant impact player, I believe Vinnie would allow him to "do his thing," and not be a burden, as evident with his handling of Rose.

No way Vinny comes back next year.

Just curious, why do you think that? I'm not defending VDN, but if the Bulls get the 5/6th seed (with low expectations), Foreman might not pull that trigger?

Foreman might be pulling something, but it definitely is not the decision to keep/dump VDN.

No he doesn't. A player has to say that he wants his coach back.

If Vinny is back next season, it means the Bulls have no interest in accomplishing anything more than a first round playoff exit. Don't bother to try to sign any real free agents if that's the case.

There is no way he comes back. That said, he has done better than I thought he would. But he'll never be good enough...
