Yeah we DVR'd it have watched every show so far. Its alot of sex, violence, and more sex.

Very 300ish feeling to it.

I've been watching it. It's about the only reason I haven't dropped "The Movie Package". I think some of the slo-mo "300" blood stuff is a little overdone, but still good. Curious to see how the next episode starts off.

I don't think there is anything about the show that is historically correct. Still, I like it. It gets a little Moint with naked dudes pressing on each other but it brings you back in with a hot woman getting naked.

Another favorite scene, where they make a gladiator and a slave girl perform a sex show at a party.

It's not even the swearing, as I imagine the Romans had equivalent language.

I doubt there was an underground fight scene like the pits. Why would there need to be one as the gladiators were fighting to the death and all classes were welcomed to watch. The naked women being hung from the ceiling like curing meat also seemed a bit over theatrical.

I think they are also making the plight of the star gladiators much more spartan than it was. I think the gladiator combatants were highly valued and not treated like slaves.

Not sure who's still watching this, but I thought the last episode was really good. Everyone was living high and got punched back to reality a little bit. Damn, the power of the p*ssy lives on...

This show is so awesome I don't even want to think about the fact that the season ends after 3 more eps.

I feel the same way. They havent even begun to start to shoot the next season because Spartacus(Andy Whitfield) was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Im thinking they will go out with a bang though this season. Each show has kicked more ass than the previous one.

'Dexter' has the same thing. If these things happen in 3's, I wonder who's next?

Hopefully Edie Falco...I kid. The chick just annoys me.

The season finale was last night and it was definately interesting. I was suprised there wasn't a little more blood though...

I don't know anything about how things really worked in the time of gladiators, but I'm curious where things go from here for next season???

This finale was how every show should go out. I loved it!

and Crixus stabbing Xena in the womb and letting her bleed to death rather than making it a painless head chop

I really liked the show. Like I said, it wasn't historically accurate, but I got the feeling the writers and actors acknowleged this and chose to have fun with the anachronisms.

I've liked the actor who played Batiatus since 4 Weddings and A Funeral. He didn't disappoint in this show and I'm sorry he got killed off.

I wish Lucy Lawless threw caution to the wind and just accepted this as probably the last chance for her to be fully nude on screen. She pruded out while everyone else on set let it all hang out.

Glaber and his wife are next - naturally.

When they named the finale "Kill Them All", they really meant it.

John Kreese would be very proud of that episode.

Ascher is unresolved as well.

I just don't see a second season working with Spartacus having cancer. Those guys were all in top shape for this role and physical frailty would detract from the product. Although they could use it to show that Spartacus led by phyisical strength as a gladiator but became a rebellion leader through mental strength.

Just powered through all 13 episodes in 4 days. Wow that was awesome. Some really good twists and turns. Hopefully this comes back for another season. Need to see more naked Mira :)
