Factually speaking, yes, he does. As the host of several shows on the Bears Broadcasting Network, he collects a paycheck from the Chicago Bears.

WSCR's Zach Zaidman keeps drinking the Bears Kool Aid. Tonight he said the Bears will not be afraid to spend money to bring a pash rushing DE and top notch safety. Didn't Angelo say he will not break the bank signing free agents. Zach listen at the press conferences. Zach also said that Tommy Harris will be a dominant player next year. Who was the last player to go three years not making the ProBowl, suffer numerous injuries, and go back to being a dominant player. I don't remember anyone. Zach further said that the core of the Super Bowl defense will be back next year which will help the Bears. How do injury prone Tommy Harris, Brian Urlacher, and Charles Tillman who are also four years older than when the Bears were in the Super Bowl help the Bears be a better defensive team. Players don't get better like wine with age.
Zach also compared the Pace signing to the Reuben Brown signing saying that the Bears hoped Pace would work out like Brown. Problem was that Brown was not coming off numerous injury plagued seasons.
Zach I believe the Bears pay you to be their sideline reporter. Just because they pay you doesn't mean that you should not be objective. Another great Mitch Rosen move letting Zach Zaidman cover the Bears for the Score. Mitch your only good moves were putting Mully and Hanley together and rehiring McNeil.

Actually, Zach hosts only 1 show via the Chicago Bears Network, Mel Jr., and that's "Bears All-Access" on 670 The SCORE during football season. Although Zach works the sidelines for WSCR's sister station in the CBS Radio family on Bears' gamedays with Jeff Joniak & Tom Thayer on WBBM Newsradio 780, Lou Canellis does the most heavy lifting. Lou hosts "Bears' GameDay/GameNight Live" on FOX32 Sundays, "Bears' Recap" & "Bears' Blitz" during the week on Comcast SportsNet.

i cringe whenever listening to the shit that comes out of his mouth. Either quit the bears part of the gig or quit the other. It would be nice to get a bears report from the score reporter without lovie's dick lodged in the side of his mouth while doing it.

He should be embarrassed.

I'm sick and tired of the sportsmedia telling us the Bears are the most popular team in town.
Are we really THAT pathetic?

Zaidman has become a water carrier. He and The Score should be embarrassed. You can almost see the guys in the studio rolling their eyes at him. Doesn't anybody tell him how stupid he sounds ?

He is a lapdog....His fucking "This is for real" Edward R. Murrow style "reporting" from Halas Hall is a pathetic farce.
