So what does this move entail? Moving your ads between stations that are close in ratings doesn't seem that big a deal. Will MVP put your podcast shows on air over the weekends, or something? Anyway, hope Waddle and Silvy support you nicely.

Listening to the last Spada show right now! Some woman talking about "Speed Bowling".
A dating game meet & greet at a bowling alley. Seems like David let's Robin do the "driving". Not much coming out of Dave's mouth. They asked her where this is occurring. When she answered,Robin talked over her (but they did bring it up later). I don't know how this is relevant to sports. This show sounds like a mix of Mike North & Wally Phillips. Robin sounds like a nice guy,I have listened to worse radio. I think David is shy,but it's not bad listening.

I've also decided to cut ties with WSCR advertising and will only listen to advertising on WMVP (ESPN) starting in March. This will be difficult as I don't listen to any of the current programming on WMVP.

I was not happy with the way WSCR management, sales, and promotions did business and treated me over the past 10 months. None of my calls were returned and clearly they did not take my advice of a continuous commercial loop of Kars4Kids, the Smart Cookies and the Meatball Marconi ads and the only reason I stayed was to hear the occasional Steve McMichael “CHAMPAGNE ROOM!” drop, which is, IMO, hilarious! I wish everyone the best and will provide endless updates on WMVP advertising for those who have not yet made the switch as I have.

I've never listened to Bearly Legal, and it appears that it was only podcasted. Maybe he thought that, after doing that for a while, he'd get an actual on-air show or something?

Just wild mass guessing here..

Well duh. I've never heard it but unless it's all-time awful, I'm sure it's good enough for weekend radio somewhere on the dial here. I mean, there's some real bad shit on weekend radio if you look in the right/wrong places.

Mike I don't know if this means anything to you, but this is the funniest thing I've read on any internet site in the month of February. Seriously, it turned my completely horrible day into only marginally shit filled. For that I think you.

he is a dui attorney who wants to become a sports radio host and hooked up with an ex-bear to help him in his quest. the problem is that spada sucks as a host and has to buy his way onto radio stations by buying ads from them and he thinks this leverage will get a station to hire him. and he annoys people on this site by begging them to listen to his horrid podcasts and trying to get them as friends on facebook. that about sums it up.

Dave, what does it matter who people are...you are the yo yo here...WSCR...6 Months later, WMVP...burning bridges..calling out Mitch Rosen...that nutty Webio nonsense..you are bouncing off walls and the reality of the situation is that as long as you have money to pay for advertising...some station is going to tolerate you and these antics.....but for how long?
This explains the bouncing from one station to another with your victim act here.

For those of you who think it is easy to do a weekly podcast its not. I agree anyone can do a podcast but having quality content isn't easy. First Robin and my podcasts are taped at a professional studio not in a house. Second, getting the quality of athletes to interview we get is not easy. It takes alot of leg work.
Lastly one has to have interviewing skills, knowledge of sports, and be fast on ones feet.
I have talked to Jeff Schwartz, Mike North, Chet Coppock, Fred Huebner, other program directors, and others in the business and most of their opinions are we do a good show which is better than alot of whats on sports radio. All said keep it up and something good will happen.

LMAO...like I have said, I have never met Dave and have never heard one bad word about him professionally...Hell, a lot of us would love to be on the air in the 3rd largest market in the Country babbling about sports, movies, chicks, politicians, Tom Dreesen and mobsters....

Dave is a LAWYER..a courtroom lawyer based upon his ads...that he now moves from station to station with his sportsradio hobby and fixation and dream......and breaks bad on station executives publicly...which a good lawyer or any employee of any kind knows is stupid..
In the trial law game..in criminal court...a defense attorney wins some and loses more...a defense attorney who starts calling the Prosecutors or Judges assholes when the defense attorney doesn't win or get exactly the deal he wants is never going to last in the business....so it baffles me that Dave would be railing on Mitch Rosen.

Most of these on air guys that you and I have met have paid their dues to get where they are and some of these producers are waiting in the wings......I don't know any SCORE or MVP advertisers who have bought commercial time and then became a host...Rosen isn't going to shitcan Dan Bernstein and replace him with David Spada anytime soon.

As a kid, my Father told me in this damned town there is always going to be somebody smarter than me and tougher than me and that I should watch my damned big mouth....I assume these radio execs have pretty long memories.....Dave isn't Danny Mac or Terry Boers or the guy that he seems to admire the most, Mike North....I don't see where his public pissing matches with Rosen or his worrying about how WSCR distributes drinking mugs is beneficial.

Spada...(sigh) ok. You realize that there are plenty of people on here who understand audio recording right? And that for a freaking podcast if you spend the money for a damn studio that you're retarded right? And that thousands of groups of buddies in their basement get more hits on their podcast than you do right?
