Maybe one of my favorite callers, especially when Ranger has some time to burn.

Chris is so good with the old pre alzheimers crowd, I think a remote from a old folks home is in order!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I need a caller Ed fighting with him to make it a great show.

I didn't hear the call but I know exactly who you're talking about. Zipper gives me the creeps.

When I first saw this title, I thought Zipper was going to be Ginger Zee.

Spiegel should be the White Sox pre & post game show host.

If this would force him to give up his spot on Mac's show, then I'm all for it.

That was my thought exactly. But I also think he would be an upgrade.

The Ranger happens to be a fellow Facebook friend of mine and does a very good job as pre & postgame host of 670 The SCORE's coverage of White Sox baseball. As far as Chris Cross, the onetime host of the long since defunct "WMAQ Sports Huddle" (Moment of silence for 'MAQ and the "Huddle" please...Thank you.), I believe he's a talk show host in Louisville.

Jesse Rogers turned down that gig because the pay was so poor.

I doubt Spiegs wants the paycut.

Close, SHARK, but no cigar. Chris Cross is the afternoon host of the Sports Huddle (match!) on WXLG in Lexington, KY.

Thanks for the clarification, Mel. I know for sure that Paul Hornung has had a sports talk show in Louisville for years, and that the old SportsChannel Chicago used to air the former Packer's show during football season.
