They would probably lose tonight if he played or not.

Quote:
MIAMI -- Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose will not play Friday night against the Miami Heat after an MRI exam confirmed he has a sprained left wrist.

The Bulls, in a news release, said there was no fracture or ligament damage. He is listed as day to day.

Rose suffered the injury late in the first quarter Thursday when he was knocked to the court by the Orlando Magic's Dwight Howard.

Rose left the game to undergo an X-ray, which revealed the sprain. The Bulls went on to lose 111-82, extending their losing streak to six.

Howard also knocked Rose out of a game in February with a hard foul under the basket. Rose suffered a bruised hip on that play.

I can't say I'm surprised Derrick Rose won't play in Miami this eve with the wrist injury, but thankful that Rose's sprain wasn't broken. Tonight's game airs on the CW come 6:30p in place of a "Family Guy" rerun. If I were Mark Suppelsa, Micah Mitarre, Rich King & Tom Skilling, I start getting the "Nine O'Clock News" rolling as soon as they tipoff. The good news, if you want to call it that, is a rematch vs. the Grizzlies at FedEx Forum doesn't happen until Tuesday night in Memphis. Hopefully, it gives Derrick & Luol Deng (calf) sufficient time to heal.

But what about all the stories that happen between 6:30 & 9:00?

This could help me pick the correct lotto numbers so that I can watch the drawing and still have time to go out and purchase a ticket.

SHARK I for one am outraged by this....There are not nearly enough Family Guy reruns on TV on any given day.

That's not really a good comparison. He has only missed a handful of games so far in his career.

The guy takes a ton of abuse though, and it shows we need some sort of inside presence to protect him when he drives to the basket. I see him breaking down sort of like Iverson did when he starts to get older. Small guys cant take abuse like that through their whole caareer.

He got halfway there. I did love when he found his groove in the 4th and trying a fall away 3. That was a thing of beauty especially considering they were within a bucket of getting the lead under 10.

Funniest thing I heard about this game... Doug said their jerseys were missing a "T".
