It means she needs to book more good teams to play DePaul. No reason to get better on your own...

In fact, book TWO good teams, and have them play each other at your site -- get rid of pesky recruits, scholarships, etc.

I'm wondering if they wouldn't be better off playing on Loyola's campus at this point. I think it seats 5,000 and is a short train ride from De Paul.

I think the Big East requires a minimum capacity of 8,000, so that rules out the Gentile Center. The UIC Pavillion would be big enough though.

The Golden Age of college city hoops has been pretty dead around here since the days of Alfredrick Hughes,Carl Golston (Ramblers) & the Mark Aguirre Demon teams.

So this is new. She called back in and is currently speaking to "her guy" Zach Zaidman. Main topic is the misperception of Allstate Arena. Why does she have to get back on the air and say what a great place to play AA is for them?

Even if they're planning on a new downtown venue, that would take years. So I don't see how it helps to trash their current arena. I suppose when they actually announce a plan they'd be implicitly saying the current setup is a problem.

My larger point is when does someone call back in to reiterate a point you already made...because she was listening and heard caller complaints. That is what I got from it and I found it out of character for someone in her position.

She made her point the first time. Why defend Allstate more the second call? Was AA offended by her statements? Were the fans offended? Make your statement better the first time, but don't call back in. Maybe just me but I thought she looked a fool in doing that.

No pun intended..but she comes off to me as a "boob". All I ever hear about is how nice she is. Well, she may be nice, but IMO, she has no clue how to compete in the Big East. DePaul fans and alumni should be disgraced.

She just sounded positively stupid...and somehow this dumb ass ditz is hiring a basketball coach to bring this school out of their current state of irrelevance?

She has proven herself to be a huge part of the problem....those two WSCR appearances sealed the deal as to her being an absolute pompous idiot without an idea of what people feel about DePaul and the Rosedump.
