I wrote a nice invite/letter to Bob Nightengale at USA Today. Bob has been a leading Dusty guy and I feel one of the guys who started the Cubs Fans Are Racist thing.

As each time I see a column it has references to Dusty claiming it.

I believe it is time for the Cubs fans to get their day in the Sun or some better evidence?

So I wrote Bob a detailed invite. Took the liberty at inviting some radio talk people as well, to make him feel at home, but looking for him to get out of the press box and roam amongst the people.

I am not expecting him to accept, but let's see what happens and I will post his response.

I will also post my letter if I dont hear from him.

I did say we can go on a hunt for the missing unopened, unpostmarked racist letters Carnack/Milton the great got! and for the youngsters out there, this is who Caenack was...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnwyQFe3wRA

A Cubs game to see all the racism!

I will wait about a week before I copy the email I sent him here for public consumption.

Cubs fans boo and dislike bad players and coaches regardless of color, creed, race, or religion.

If they make it to a World Series, Cub fans will love those players and coaches regardless of color, creed, race, or religion.

I do not know what is so hard for people to understand about that. Sure, there are idiots out there who feel and say hateful things, but they are a minute percentage of the fans at Wrigley. Milton Bradley claiming that he did not feel safe leaving his house is just an excuse for his piss poor play. Sure doesn't seem like he had any problems going to the bank to cash his checks.

But then it wouldn't be a full game. I guess that makes sense for you though, sense you seem to be a few innings short of an official game.

5 innings is a full game

As I have not heard back from Mr Nightengale, I decided to go check my inbox from my USA Today account.

I cant' access my account????? lol

I confirmed my passwords etc and the existance of such account with an email from USA Today.

Still can't get in. As when I do enter my info it does not say that I entered the wrong info, but tells me to REGISTER as no account exists.

I have emailed the good people at USA today and will report back.

Sensing Bob Nightengale might not be able to take the heat on this one?

'Full' - no
'Official' - yes

The court finds in favor of Frank ... mazel tov <gavel>.

technically going to say Don Tiny is mistaken here. MLB recognizes only REGULATION games or "OFFICIAL GAMES". I would assume STATS recognizes a 5 inning No Hitter or Perfect game as such with an asterick, but there is no formal FULL game status.

Milton Bradley is the walking poster child for drug testing.

BF didn't you do the same thing (email Nightengale) a few years ago about Dusty or Latroy or Jacque complaining about hate mail and comments from fans? Did he respond then? If so what did he say?

I might have, but quite sure never had a USA tOday account which is the only way you can contact Dustys mouthpiece.

Wonder if it is the Cub fans fault he has been ejected from the 2 of the last 3 spring training games?

Next looking for the african american reporter who presented a case for some St Louis fans that Milton claimed said racist remarks to him, then of course Milton called the reporter an "Uncle Tom"

LOS ANGELES - Dodgers star Milton Bradley allegedly called a reporter an “Uncle Tom” after the outfielder was asked how he was treated by St. Louis fans following his season-ending suspension for throwing a bottle into the stands.

The confrontation occurred in the clubhouse at Busch Stadium after batting practice during an off-day in the Los Angeles-St. Louis playoff series. Bradley fielded a question from Los Angeles Times reporter Jason Reid regarding fans during the Cardinals’ 8-3 win in Game 1.

Bob Nightengale is a bigger idiot than Milton Bradley. Nightengale has the benefit of an ASU education and supposedly uses his brain on a regular basis in his profession. On the other hand Bradley was drafted straight out of high school and cannot even keep track of how many outs there are. So while I can sort of see why Bradley would make wacky comments, I don't get Nightengale's at all.

I wonder if Dave Nightingale ever thought Cubs fans were racists? I doubt it.

I know a guy that sits in the bleachers at Wrigley and he swears that he saw a few fans dig in their nose and eat it. I guess that makes ALL Cubs fans at Wrigley booger eaters. You know if one person does it everyone should feel guilty even if they don't eat boogers.

I hope he isn't still sitting on his lap. His son looked like he has a future in the game.
