To each his/her own. They seem to be happy so whatever works. Not surprised that a guy who made a living from face painting moreso than playing guitar would have an odd view of things though.

I am sure his marriage works well. He is on the road doing stuff 2-3 days a week and I don't think he staying at Motle 6's, probably had his fill of bimbos in his day and maybe a few now, has plenty of cash and his wife is occupied with her sister all day.

He's been with Shannon for many years and raised 2 kids together that seem like pretty good kids. I get the impression that he has been a good partner and a good Father. Whether or not he chooses to exchange vows and pieces of jewlry is less important than the way he has treated these people. He has never given Shannon the impression that he might get married and has always been vocal about not ever wanting to be married. If she wants to believe that he's gonna change that attitude, she's just fooling herself. Nomination rejected.

Gene Simmons & his lady looks like they raised 2 great kids from what I can see. Neither offspring looks like a spoiled punk. As for marriage,27.5 years of it might make me an expert but I'm not. It has worked for me,but I can't speak for anyone else.

Seriously, though, I try not to pay attention to any of the celebrity bullshit, but, from what I remember, this isn't exactly a healthy relationship even though Shannon is dumb enough to stay with Gene all these years. He thinks it's an open relationship, complete with the countless hosebags, and she wants a real traditional marriage. It's all pretty dumb, and now I feel worse about myself knowing that I have all of that information
