Soriano needs to go away. Ricketts should show the fans that he is serious about this and eat the money. Cubs are hitting lots of balls hard. We will hang around or win this game if the bullpen keeps dealing.

I'm getting old....I didn't realize that James Russell is former big leaguer Jeff Russells' kid. I remember him as a closer for the Rangers in the late 80's/early 90's....I'm sure I had his Topps or Fleer or Upper Deck card.

As much as I hate to make solid criticisms of opening day games, today only reinforced my opinion from last year that Fontenot has no goddamn business in the major leagues. Just a shit day today to compliment a shit year last year.
