I still think Beckham needs more "seasoning" in triple A  And Sizemore pickup right where he left off

Gordon Beckham has 2 hits and 2 runs scored in his first game as the White Sox full time second baseman. As much as I didn't want to see Chris Getz get traded in the offseason, Beckham clearly outplayed Getz & Jayson Nix last Spring Training when he was at second base all the time. I think we forgot how good Beckham really was a year ago before taking over at third base last June when the Sox called him up.

Great game, boys! (as usual) Buehrle pitched awesome (what a play!) , the bullpen looked good, great base running and some timely hitting. Keep it rolling for Peavy on wed!

Damn I wish I could have seen the game this afternoon. Sounds like a fantastic one. Based on the comments here, Buehrle's play will surely be a highlight on SC, correct?

My day started good with the Sox and then I turned to the Cubs to watch Z get lit up. Buehrle looked good today. I expect the Sox lineup to continue to produce (like I predicted some time ago). They will win the Central.

Today was an anomaly. SOX line-up sucks. Time will tell.

Great pitching and defense. The offense was patient against a guy who was willing to throw the ball all over the place.

However, gentlemen, this Indians team may very well be the worst in the American League, so let's not go sucking each other's dicks just yet (Frank).

Hopefully, the Mark Kotsay DH thing will resolve itself one way or the other. I know there are 161 more games to go and I need to slow my roll. I just hope that sac flies are not going to be the norm for him.

If they ever make a Harlem Globetrotters for baseball, they should make Mark Buerhle their first player signed.

That was a spectacular play got to give it to him for that one, and the ump got the call right too.

Not to mention Konerko was right where he should be (as if he was actually expecting a throw), and catching the ball barehanded.

When you pitch a shutout, even a sucky lineup is going to win.
