My question of the day is...Can the Cubs score any runs without the home run? Wasn't this a problem all of last year? If they were not hitting the long ball...they were not scoring. Opening day they scored 5 runs on a 3 run homer & a 2 run homer. Let's string some hits together damnit.

No team that ever had Jake Peavy on its roster, has won a playoff game.

I have a good feeling about tonight's game. Demp is a good tournaquet pitcher, and tonight the bats come alive. Cubs 6, braves 3 and no frooty Braves chanting tonight thanks.

Tonight's game is on Comcast Sportsnet Plus. The non-HD channel on my comcast cable system is 40. The HD channel is 285, but the game is only on the non-HD channel. Anyone know what is going on?

Soriano didn't strike out with a 2 strike count. Get the W flag ready.

Fontenot's D cost the Cub again. Is there a worse team in the majors at covering second base?

I've got Fontenot in the same catagory as that Liam Neeson guy.

I'll agree all day with the Fontenot hate, but continue to badmouth Liam Neeson and I'll be forced to "Release The Kraken!"

The home plate umpire for this game can eat my assholes. The game is not about you jerk off. Enough with the screaming. Just make good calls.

I know this is common knowledge at this point, but damn is Theriot limited range wise at short.

Heyward sounds like he's hitting with an aluminum bat.

The arbitration clock can lick my sack; put Castro at short and Theriot at second already if that's what you want to do.

typical dempster start. he throws a gem and the bullpen blows it for him. i want to say he should have about 12 more wins atleast in the last 3 years if not for this bullpen
