I guess I was talking more about sacred cows...like

Alive - Pearl Jam
One - U2
Brown Eyed Girl - Van Morrison

Just songs you've heard so many times that you never need to hear again for the rest of your life...

"Ordinary World" - Duran Duran

"Cryin'" - Aerosmith (probably because of the video...)

"Undone - The Sweater Song" - Weezer

"Closer" - NiN

"Good Riddance" - Green Day

"High and Dry" - Radiohead

"What I Got" - Sublime

"Seether" - Veruca Salt

but nothing...NOTHING...beats this one...

"Smells Like Teen Spirit" - Nirvana

i can hardly listen to "Nevermind" at all anymore anyway; but that song stands out as one that when I hear it...it's instant PTFB.

+1

Dookie was the first CD I ever bought. They used to be really good. I can't stand any of their music anymore.

About the only thing I can stomach from their catalog right now is the Unplugged album. The rest is just too overplayed.

I'm against censorship, but that fucking song needs to be banned - for everyone's sanity. Who the hell needs to hear it again?? Is there anyone at all who hasn't heard it over 5,000 times?? No wonder Cobain checked himself out early

I think the entire 97.9 The Loop playlist needs to be banned. Every time I turn that crapfest on it's the same Metallica, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC random buttrock song. I've got nothing against those bands, but at least play more than the same 3-5 songs by that band. You can only hear "Rock & Roll" by Led Zeppelin so many times before you want to blow your brains out. I honestly cannot believe they are one of the top rated stations in Chicago.

Anything from Van Halen, except "Hot For Teacher". I can never get enough of that drum intro.

I guess my biggest problem is the David Lee Roth unnecessary screeches. :x Van Hagar was never good, so don't even get me started there.
