You are right about that. This one looks good.

The John Grabow signing was fucking stupid. I don't think enough people realize how bad that contract is.

2 games played.....2 games behind the Cards. 160 games remain.

I'd bet big bucks that they never catch them......

After 2 games, Fontenot needs to go, and Theriot to 2nd. Hendry needs to go, for this horrible bullpen he has assembled. Any bullpen with 3 rookies and the WR in it will be bad. Grabow was so-so at best, and then they resigned him. We also have a closer who can't throw strikes regularly.

I was at that Marmol game last August when he couldn't throw a strike to save his life. Believe me, I am absolutely scared to death.

I agree. Why fuck around? Little fucking prick FonteNOOOO cant catch a damn ball and tag a runnner out? He can't hit a fastball (fair - or consitently) when he is sitting 2 - 0 or 3 - 1 in the count. Theriot is 0 for the season and looks pretty rough at short.

Why wasn't FonteNOOOO's drop ruled an error??

Easy Chauncey, this season is not going to end with a world series. No reason to rush it now and be screwed in 4 years, when they might actually be competitive.

Clearly this was the ump's fault.

The umps blew a call against that Braves that helped the Cubs score their runs. It all evens out.

Grabow as a player isn't all that bad. He's a nice left handed arm in the pen even though he's better at getting righties out. The problem is when you give bullpen guy/non closer two years and 8 million dollars you want to be very confident that the job will get done. Even if Grabow performs to his career averages, Hendry grossly overpaid. Which isn't shocking at all

i 100% agree with fontenot. he didnt deserve to keep his job last year and he sure as hell had no business being given the starting 2b job this year. lets see jeff baker atleast he hit well enough in what i saw from him. screw the whole lefty shit. fontenot couldnt hit over .230 if he had a clone and they batted from both sides at the same time.

Anytime Theriot wants to get a hit would be good.

Right after people call in and compare Augie Ojeda to Mickey Mantle. So, about 6:15 AM. Or tonight.

Oh shit, wells has almost 90 pitches and its only the bottom of the 6th. Lou's death march to the mound is inevitable. Enjoy the lead while you still can.

Well Marshall is warming up so you can count on blowing his arm off by May.

Glad to see Wells looking sharp tonight, I was worried he would be a one year wonder.

Damn, maybe he didn't throw that many pitches yesterday and he better be down 2morrow (idk even know if there is a game as i didnt check the sched) As long as the shark stays in the tank things could be alright.

 This is true. But shouldn't you be more worried about Peavy's injury?

Could someone please escort Mr. Coztansa back to the White Sox section? Thank you.

So what is the plan for the 8th? Caridad comes back and Marmol takes if from there, no way grabow gets the ball in the same situation as last night, Marmol gets the 8th and 9th or one of the rooks comes in? Not even lou would entertain the other option so its got to be one of those 3.

The plan, as of now, is to give up the lead. We'll see if they follow through.
