Since I moved to Atlanta a few months ago and I drive around all day, I am able to listen to Cowherd. Nothing better is on, but he isn't too bad. For some reason, a few times a show you can hear what the producer is saying in his headseat over the air. It's like a whisper. Weird. Are they trying to do that?

If anyone here listens to Colin Cowherd they would be called weird.

I used to listen to him every day about four or five years ago...

...so I guess that just supports your theory...

There is little worse than listening to a national solo host hash over one topic for 4 hours.

He's downsizing to three soon.

Perhaps ... however, I posit that a local solo host cramming 5 hours into a 2 hour show might qualify as worse.

When I don't have the computer around or my phone doesn't get good enough service to get the app to work I have to listen to national espn radio as the 12 other am stations all have rush on. That being said, if he doesn't get a good interview then its really boring listen to him talk about how good fans are bad businessmen for hours on end. Why can't they just take calls or have a co-host already so they can engage in actual conversation.

Wilson, if you've got a blackberry or iphone, both 670 and 1000 have apps that will allow you to stream their stations from the phone. I'd suggest that while you're in the car. Just be sure to keep the phone on charge while you're doing this, because it does drain your battery. But I love it.

I miss Murph's 2 hour bag and Abby's old drawers.

Now that its cubs season I could deal with some murph here and there over loho and his numerous fill ins and solo show.

Factually speaking, Colin Cowherd's national ESPN Radio show "The Herd" is on at the same time as "Waddle & Silvy" on ESPN Radio 1000 locally. Like Tom Waddle & Marc Silverman's local show, "The Herd" airs on ESPN Radio & ESPNradio.com weekdays 9a-1p, with a video simulcast on ESPNU, DIRECTV 614.

As an added bonus, viewers watching the video simulcast can actually see what "SportsCenter" anchor Dan "The Duke" Davis looks like. Needless to say, "The Duke" is old.

SHARK, you can, from this point forward, leave the above phrase out of your missives. It is a given.

I miss Murph, too, Reason. But he needs a 4-hour show.

I have listed to Cowherd and watched him on the U sometimes, I would say he's better than average. He may talk about a topic about 4 hours like Urlacher's neck, but he brings a diffrent angle to it and can back it up.

I like when he talks about the ratings of sporting events, also he kind of an anti-Mike and Mike, like with baseball, like on the baseaball commisioner Bud Selig, it's like with Mike and Mike, he can do no wrong, but with Cowerd he likes baseball, but with the way it's ran, it's not good. When Cowherd looks at the ratings, he could see the World Series go to TBS, because World Series ratings are usually bad.

Cowherd is pretty good during football season.

I am saying put me down for listening as being weird.

I actually have the 670 app on my iPhone which I plug into my car when I drive in the morning and evenings, but during the day I drive a work truck with a loud diesel engine and I can't hear it.

I swear by it man....I've mentioned this before, but I love to listen to the radio feed when they dump someone (or themselves), and since its about a minute behind on the stream I can sign into my phone right away and catch what they dumped.

When I've heard Cowherd, he sounds more like a Skip Bayless wanabee.
Colin tends to take the alternative point of view to ignite a discussion.
Just like Bayless loves going after The King, Cowherd appears to do the same thing with Durantala. Cowherd's style is forced. It's PTFB audio at its finest.

Yeah I remember the first time I was listening to the Score over iPhone and I thought Jayson or Matty forgot to dump it and I thought someone was getting fired.
