I was watching with my buddy who's a Cardinal fan. And not the toothless ass-wipe kind of Cardinal fan, a cool Cardinal fan. He said "wow...that's a tough way to lose." He flipped the game over to the Cardinals who proceed to hit a 2 run homer to win the game. I told him those two games are a perfect example why the Cubs are the Cubs and the Cardinals are the Cardinals.

With a three and a 6 year old, I don't ever sit down and watch baseball because I usually fall asleep before the kids do. And I pick last night to watch.

I don't care if it's only game 4. This team is a steaming pile of shit. If it gets Piniella and Hendry fired, I'm all for it.

I thought Z was going to stop cutting the ball this year. His ball still moves all over the damn place. Looks pretty when he keeps it low, but bad when it goes high.

Got through the first nicely on only 14 pitches. The scary thing about Z is that even when he is on he works deep counts and gets that pitch count up sometimes thus allowing the pen to shit all over the mound and all the hard work the starter and position players put in for the first 6 to 7 innings. Good news is even though the shark is getting restless down there, Marshall should be up today.
