Are you talking about the caller who just complained about Adrian Peterson getting no respect?

On the other hand, I am tired of Mike Mulligan acting like Mike Brown's injury means the Bears will be destroyed by all of their future opponents.

I agree. Like I said the media fell in love with Brown. Mike Brown has played 7 years and made one pro bowl. Not that impressive. He's a fine player but this gloom and doom is sickening.

i personally don't feel peterson belongs in the nfl but as far as other backups i think people like them because the starter in their position really isn't that good! case in point bear quaterbacks the last 20 years until this year!

Peterson is a legit backup. He just has no business getting carries over Jones or Benson. I think his contract expires after this year. The Bears probably won’t resign him, but I doubt he’ll be unemployed for long. There are plenty of teams that wouldn’t mind AP as their number 2.

No. Peterson signed a 4 or 5 year deal in the off season Bucket.

Benson is one backup whose time has come. Jones is slow and indecisive. Let's see what Cedric can do with 25 carries in a game.

Thomas Jones won't be with the Bears next year. So Peterson will be the back up.

Nevermind, just dug it up...

Adrian Peterson's three-year contract extension included a $1 million signing bonus and league minimum salaries throughout the deal.

Even if he loses both his legs in a tragic farming incident?

peterson is a hell of a special teams player but he's brutal at rb. of course it doesn't matte since he's the 3rd back. what's the use in signing a league minimum contract in the NFL? i guess he got some cash on the bonus though.

Agreed Midge, I would like to see Benson get all lathered up also. He strikes me as the kind of back that would really do his damage after twenty carries. I expect we will see it this year, just like A-train in 2001.
