Love him or hate him Lou made a nice decision batting Baker for little lord Fontnot today. Glad to see Grabow get in and out of the 8th. Someone has to step up in that role. That Lee catch certainly helped.

Marshall will be well rested for as many innings as needed tomorrow when hopefully for the 5th straight game the shark stays in the tank.

Who is this loathesome shark of which you speak? I am only familiar with our very own SHARK and feel confident he doesn't moonlight in the bullpen for Chicago's north side ball club.

Idk, fox is showing the rays yanks here even though neither is in my region. I am watching American Pie Presents Beta House, thats how much I don't care about the AL east.

Brew Crew vs. Cards. 5th inning interview was MM instead of LaRussa.

Much needed win after things looked bad early. Zambrano did well, to get it together and give the bullpen some needed rest. Marmol was FILTHY!! Still can't believe that Dickerson took that 2 strike pitch that just missed. He struck out anyway as did every hitter Carlos Marmol faced. Great performance. I just hope the club can get enough games into his hands with a lead to matter.

OK. Would love to see a win today and playing 500 on the road is certainly acceptable...even though they blew 2 games ( uggh ).

Once again though....all their runs came via the home run yesterday. That is not good in the long run. Theriot, Lee, Ramirez, Soriano....all are not hitting for average yet, so hopefully we see the bats come alive a little more. Starting pitching has been great minus game 1. The spot light for trouble is on the bullpen as we all knew going into the season.

Rookie pitcher going for the Reds today.

Stone just said..."Zambrano pitched a good game but ill say that lineup isnt exactly the Big Red Machine" How does the bitternes not even diminish a little? Does he not realize that The Cubs made him? Anyway, theyll lose today. Probably 6-4. Some Reds bench player will start and homer.

Well, the Rookie isn't looking good. Nice to see cubs not sucking against a guy in his first game.

I am DONE with Soriano's faggy leap. Just cost an out against Votto. I can handle his crap fielding if he's knockin in 35+HR and 120 Ribbies but when you do crap like that while batting like a little leaguer... no thanks.

Theriot is getting on base lately. A walk and a little bloop single to right. That's more like it.
