Let's really look at this show and what it is made of.

1. Emails-While every other person on Radio reads the emails during a show as they are instant, just like the NEW technology of TEXT messages, but I think Mike is the only one who was so facinated by them that he tried to turn it into a segment AKA Time Waster.

2.Mike Rants-I think if you asked Buchman we would know the real story and find out Buchman thought this was going to be the callers Ranting, until Mike just decided to be an idiot and take over. Again.

3. Bookie Priest- Remember when he started this? he had it palstered on every 4 minutes during the entire day. The concept wasn't bad, just use it when you should, not every 4 mins!

4.The Real Estate Game- Ok, this is the perfect of example of Mike's whole show. Mike and Bebe sitting at the table Sunday Morning and bebe sees in the paper that So and so bought a house for $$$$, she asks Mike to guess. And so the worst bit that Mike won't kill was born.

5. Kudos of the day- Mike sai9d Kudos to someone on the air and said 'Rock make it into a bit". Not even suire if that's how it happened but will bet big money I am right!

6. Adopt a pet- OK nice gesture, not sure it fots, but I like Dogs, so I will pass it over.

7. Jen- I am not oppossed to Mike trying to find a REAL HOT Blonde to be part of the show. I am talking about a Knockout girl. Why not make it a contest. like the LOOP GIRL? Instead Mike Finds your typical Run of the Mill, Post college Cute Chick who has nothing to dow ith running a radio show and makes her Producer of a Sports show? LOL

8. Anne Wells Maxfield- Too Much to type. Simple, she has no business being at that staion or on that Show and only Mike North and his Inflated Ego keep her around.

9. Buchman- The Hand picked Producer of the Mike North show. GONE! Smartest one of the bunch.

10. Huebner, J. Frederick, III- Fred, you sac sucking lard ass loser. I can only assume you say very little to keep your job.

11. Rock- You know you should be producing the show and if Mike wanted to let Jen go and get guests, fine, but you should be behind the wheel, we all know it.

12. Battle of the Bands- Is there any older shtick in the world?

(At this point I am having trouble remembering what other amazing things you do)

13. Your Solo interviews. One thing Fred might actually be able to add is his ability to talk Sports and what happens in games because he watches every game. Being that you have a bunch of Sports people on the air with you, it actually makes sense to have the guy who watches every game ask some questions.

14. The NBC Gig- Is that one of the worst things ever or what! Hi Ellie and Dick, How are you? Good Mike How are you? Fine, what's going on Dick? Ellie? nothing Much Mike, what's going on with you guys? fabulous stuff Mike. Think anyone ever once said. Hey, I gotta turn that guy ont he radio right now!

15. Fred's Movie Reviews- Another staple for every radio show that can never think of anything new. At least take another angle. Fred, go to a different theater. eat some different food? God knows you eat enough somewhere.

16. Jag bag of the Day- How can I forget the staple of the Worst show around? Easy to answer my own question. First, Mike always acted like he once again invented the Internet. He just renamed Caneing. When he got Jiggs fired.

17. Every award he ever bought-Mike will be receiving the Media Excellence Award at the National Italian Sports Hall of Fame Gala. This I found on North to North. NOBODY is this revered Mike. NOBODY someone sure seems to be pushing you for award after award. Someone didn't get enough attention as a kid?

18. Seminars- So has anyone ever paid Mike to come and talk to them about anything? Specifically during the last 3.5 years when his idiocy had nobody to hide behind?

19.Caucasian Man- Anyone want to wager there are 9,984 of these CD's somewhere in storage? Never seen the likes of anyone inflated view of themselves so much that the put it into CD form for people to purchase!

20. Racism- I am not going to pick on any single episode but over time there have been many many issues. Plus, Mike usually tries to take up the fight of constant Reverse Racism and pointing out "if it was a black guy they fired, it would be a different story". Mike, you grew up in an area and area where stereotypes dominated society and despite what your voice says many times your actions and comments are easy enough for any half educated person to know exactly what you mean when you talk.

Overall, I would like to give you my Kudos of the day for being King of the Idiots.

It's Friday afternoon at work and I am bored

Thanks for summing up everything ever said on this board ScoreGuy. It really is amazing to see this body of work and realize what a no talent, ignorant, fool this guy is. The Score still pushes this image of him as a star--Mr. Chicago. He's been stealing for a long time. Plus he just spits in everybodys face about his money and how he'll not change and just collect his check. He's a scum bag.

Small one here....He also has the Burger King caller of the show that he gives to the first caller every day at around 6:15 AM, no matter the point of the caller. You'd think this would be given to a good caller, not necessarily the 1st caller ? Then again, Mike doesn't take many phone calls, so it's probably something they do to get out of the way since it's sponsored.

HGH Player of the day was always my favorite. I think he ran out of players after a while and offered up Pope Benedict, but I might not be remembering that quite right.

Its all about Mike, always will be about Mike until Mitch grows a pair and cans his ass, until then, Mike will continue to think he runs that station. Also, do you notice how Mike and Rock are using other shows drops now? Back in the day, hosts would throw a fit over it, now his show is the only one to do it.

Mike is having a hard time coming to the concept that he isnt nearly as smart or entertaining as he thinks he is.

The sad part about Mitch is he recognized the problems of the show with our help. That's why there were try outs with Jesse, Drinky, and Larry. But when it came down to making the call. The executive decision that needs to be made. Mitch folded like a cheap tent.

After all of the money and benefits Pappy has gotton from Score management he still laughs in their face and even has the gull to blame them. He got to do the show from his house, has gotton 4 times slots, a solo show, the only one to get a bill board, the station promotes his show through out the day more then any other, Jen Jen, 100 grand news women per his request. Even still he'll rip management and they take it. I guess he can do it because they know they can't do a damn thing to him with that contract. But still you'd think he'd have some apreciation.

Predict the Score? Does he still do this?

You forgot his newest brainstorm - "Vienna Hot Dog Stand of the week." He spends 5 minutes talking about some stupid hot dog stand.

I have officially turned to WMVP in the mornings. Alteast they talk sports. I think I have heard more chicago sports talk on Mike and Mike then I have on North's "show"

I'm pretty sure he's doing 5 team parlay still but I've pretty much given up on listening. Used to be that I could listen a little even though the show drove me crazy talking politics, Springsteen, etc. But then they did the tryout with Drinky and I thought, this show really could be pretty good. I'm ashamed to say I even got a little excited at the prospect that there could be a morning show that I would want to listen to. But then, the rug gets pulled out. Now I can't listen at all because I had a glimpse at what could be but I'm left with what is.

Here's a segment he should use--Jiggles giving North a BJ on the air-everyone can then guess---swallow or spit. It would be far more entertaining than the shitfest they put out everyday. Other than that, there is no longer a possibility of entertainment from 6-10 am on the score.

ScoreGuy, why the hell would you want Jen-Jen the Little Engine booking guests? Screw that. It's a sports show. Get somebody with an intimate knowledge of the players, execs and whatnot (not that version of intimate) to do the booking. What would Jen bring you - Fritzy, Knuckles, Alan Keyes? No thanks - shift Goff to morning producer. Put Jesse up there (oh, shit, did I just say that? Shoot me). Get Jen-Jen away from that show.

I think if you asked Buchman we would know he wanted out from day one - that he really didn't know what he was getting with this show. My guess is he had never listened to North before, and the thought of a 20K+ raise and the "prestige" impressed him. Unfortunately, he didn't do his research. My guess is the first time they did this show, Buch was cringing behind the glass. My guess is he couldn't believe how terrible this sounded, and that he began his countdown to leave that first show.

Maybe Ike knows, but is probably confused whether he should spit too!!

At this point, I almost wish they'd take Murph's show away from him and put him with North in the morning. At least that way Score listeners would be able to ignore all of the Score's useless on-air personalities at once.

I'm bored on a Saturday night, so for fun I decided to respond to Dr. Noisewater's first ever post!

Now that Drinky's had more practice on the air...I'm sure he could talk circles around North and Fred. It would be an entertaining listen.

The morning show tanked from the start when north made the brilliant decision he was not going to take calls. North jumped the shark when he was doing his afternoon show. He started to think he could carry a show. The station is so lame that the only reason to listen is during Bears season when the reporters and experts do a good job. Hub, the beat reporters and the first 10 mins of Mully are solid. Haven't listened to the north show for months and do not plan to unless the show is radically restructured.

It's been expressway-accident radio for me for quite some time.
I have a hard time from turning away from the blood and guts. I just love listening to this annoying and pointless banter.

For a minute I thought you were talking about the interview w/the former Sox director of scouting. Even when Shaffer admitted that he would have traded much of the Sox farm system for a WS title, North still found a way to continue to try to take shots at Kenny Williams for his 'failures' as GM. It sounds like the same jackass on the same rail complaining that Danny Evans should have been made GM years ago-- oh wait, it was. (But what has Evans done in baseball since???) When he (North) began with the 'the other GM's don't like him do 'dey, coz he is different from 'dem udders crap; or the he didn't give YOU a chance to do YOUR job but I know Reinsdorf doesn't really agree with this (--see "bag" day fallout), I remembered why I stopped listening to Score mornings. Nevermind the title 'thing', or even the blase at best performance by most of the farmhands traded away, how about, perhaps the guy really isn't/wasn't that good at his job and deserved the ax.

Yeah North, he is different from 'them', we all know how, and many of us believe we know the difference that really fries your ass, it's readily apparent in his complexion. Oh yeah, and except for a select few, in his jewelry cabinet. Invite Kenny Williams to your next 'hug a black' day now and see what happens you prick.
