This team would be alot better without drug testing.

Really like this lineup. Should score at least 3 runs.

Red = Could be out of baseball in one year if things break the wrong way.

Nady and Baker...sure...Byrd and Soriano...not with their contracts

Right. I should have added that the contract saves them. But if they were in contract years, they would be renting for sure.

Keep that pitch count down already Demp!! At least Affliction Braun swung first pitch. Your services are needed beyond the 6th.

They've been getting Davis's pitch count up nicely. I think that was 10 or 11 for Riot. Probably finish the inning well over 20, which isn't bad for four at-bats.

26 pitches-a solid inning for not getting a hit

Anytime ARam wants to break out of this early season slump would be super

Lets fire up the Nady bandwagon....who needs an outfielder to be able to throw....I mean we all survived the Jacque Jones experience

By the looks of things, we'll get deep into the Brewers Pen in game 1. I may have mentioned before that's usually a good thing. Davis...76 pitches thru 2 2/3.

I stand by this statement, even though 50% of them just homered.

Only 1. Could have been worse. If Prince wasn't 400 lb he would have scored well before that hit anyways.

Davis started today with a 9.00 ERA, leaves with a 11.05 after pitching 92 pitches over 3 and 1/3rd inning, allowing 5 ER on 7 hits.

Well now that I think about it the book ain't quite closed on him yet. Theriot still in play on Davis's record.

All regulars except for Theriot (BB, SB) have hits. Expect some Shark today? He's in the dugout, but Len says not for long.

Glad I caught that. He leaves with a 12.27 ERA. Good Stuff.
Lee looks like he might be injured. Keeps wincing and shaking his right hand/wrist. That could be bad.

Might as well. I'm driving to Wrigley to choke out Lou if Marshall or Marmol get up today.

That Steve guy should be excited. I heard him call in to Mac's show today wanting Nady to play first so Lee could be traded for a set up guy. No trade, but you've got your Nady at first.

Right Thumb Inflamation with Lee. With the day off tomorrow hopefully he's good by Wednesday. Nady can easily hold down 1st for a few days. Doesn't sound too serious

DLee had a couple of hits & R'sBI in today. He is obviously a stud defensively. Nady had a 3 run bomb, so will see.

Wrist injuries usually slow to heal, so we will see how it plays out.

6 innings 4 earned. Not terrible for Demp by any means. Cue up the circus music for the 7th.

Despite going 2 for 4 so far, Soriano still looks lost.

See ya Soriano. Lou is really letting Demp go today. He had 102 going into the inning. Hopefully no movement on the shark front. A soon to be 4 run lead is far to small for him.
