I actually think the heavy bat helps him. At least it did with the Rangers, and right after his time in Texas. He frustrates me a great deal, but I have not given up on him.

Another nice job of managing by Lou. Ended up in a game situation with probably the worst hitter on the team a bat and he can't pinch hit for him cause he's the only catcher left. Nice.....

they squandered scoring chances. i can't put this totally on the bullpen but it would've been nice to just get the 6 outs and get the hell out of there with a series win.

instead we lost a series to the worst team in the national league. hooray.

Thats usually true, but the Cards and Mets were in a scoreless tie at the start of inning number 19 yesterday! (Mets went on to win 2-1 in the 20th)

But really, if you lost 3-2 in extras it's not the bullpen. The cubs offense has given the Bullpen a worse name than it deserves.
