Can you share with me a lineup that would not make you go "bleh"?

Fontenot is a piece of shit. Gets picked off 2nd, after Z misses the bunt. Fontenot is really useless.

Well, if forced to stick with the Cubs. My ideal lineup would be

Fukudome
Theriot
Lee
Ramirez
Byrd
Soriano
Soto
Baker
Pitcher

I don't really see how that is any less "bleh". You can move crap around and it still is crap.

I'm not arguing that it's good. I think that's better than any lineup Lou has put out this year though.

I wouldn't mind seeing

Ramirez
Soriano (colvin)
Fukudome (colvin)
Soto
Theriot

Fontenot can never come up with a big hit. Agree with you about having Castro lead off. Heard Bernsy say today that he is killing in AA, so why not? Solid outting by Z, no support though. I'm sure this loser Gray will give up at least one.

Classic 2010 cubs pen. Consistent if nothing else. Krod is pissed he can't get a save. At least my Fantasy team has reyes.

Grabow strikes again. At this point we'd be better off with Gabbo taking the bump in the eighth.

I would be surprised if he made the team plane out of NY. They will just load him on a bus to Weehawken New Jersey.

The best you can hope for is that they make up some injury and DL him. He just signed so he isn't going anywhere. The shark should be headed to Tennessee though because he has nothing right now and they still have an option left on him.

Ramirez looks like Soriano right now. He can't hit a breaking pitch at all. If he would just take them, he would be in a great hitters count.

The weird thing is that soriano isn't bailing out right now, he actually looks like he can square up a ball over the entire plate instead of just trying to pull homeruns. As soon as he hits a few bombs he will revert back of course.

Fitting way for the night to end, Fontenot striking out with 2 men on. Fontenot really shouldn't play, but once a week.

This season is fading much quicker than I thought. Two losses to the Astros followed by two losses to the Mets? The Padres and Nationals must be salivating over the Cubs coming to town. By the time they start hitting, the starting pitching will blow.

The lack of hitting really shocks me. This team is looking really old & slow really fast!

Game is under rain delay, 1st pitch is scheduled for about 6:40p.
And yeah, the Cubs are gonna blow.

Why is Colvin starting against a lefty? You sit him against all the righties, and then start him tonight. Hell, lets start him tomorrow against Santana also.

According to the Lou pre-game, "Colvin is playing against a tough lefthander in right field because Nady could not go with some rehab assignments and we need to get him some at bats."

Why is theriot leading off against a lefty? Lou has completely lost it and wants to go home.

This team fucking blows. However, I enjoy Moreland on the radio.

Batting Byrd leadoff against lefties sure didn't last long.
