Do you hear that sound? It's the sound of LA taking control of this series. It. Is. Over.

For tonight's games, I would think the Red WIngs tie the series with the Coyotes,

hope the Penguins seize control of the series and go up 3-1,

Devils need the win, because I can't see them winning 3 straight.

Blackhawks get the home ice advantage back

I know they haven't shown it the last couple of years, but I think after the last loss, the Sharks turn it around and I see win 3 straight to take the series in 6 games.

I'm thinking that the coyotes "shock the world" and take another on the road against Detroit

I'm with you on everything else except the sharks game, Anderson is playing out of his freaking mind. So much for this year being different for the sharks <cough>thornton<cough>

I'm pretty sure their top line hasn't hasn't even scored yet

This Ottawa/Pittsburgh game is incredible. They've scored as many goals in one period as the Hawks and Preds in the whole series.

Jarko Ruttuu is a coward. As usual. Nice cheap shots there.

With the Devils losing 4-1, and with last year the Devils losing in the first round to the Canes, are we just about to see the end of a great goalie in Martin Brodeur.

Well tonight we will see if anybody can go up 3-1, I would say the Capitals have the best shot.

Crosscheck, I think Loungo will turn it around and get the series tied, I see a 7 game series there.

As of today, I think we will get a Penguins-Capitals Eastern Conference Finals

On the West Side, I don't think the Blackhawks are done as some people think, the worry I would say is it looks like they have no control of the series, just let the Preds do whatever they need to do. The Sharks won last night in o.t., I think take control of the series, like I put before I think Kings-Canucks goes 7, and I also think the Coyotes-Red WIngs goes 7 too.

Good picks there over the past few games reents, I thought that Boston would win the series, but I never thought that they would be up 3-1 over the sabers. I can't believe that the power play has been as good as it has been for the kings, and yet they still can't take control of the series, and it's not like luongo has been standing on his head, he has been his usual playoff self...

I still like Colorado over the sharks though, gotta go with history, and I still like the coyotes...

On to tonight's games, I think the Pens close out the series, more on the fact they don't want to back to Ottawa, last game announcers made it sound like the crowd was ready to jump into the bench and start a riot.

We will see if the Devils show some pride and try to make this a series or for 2 out of the last 3 years go down in the first round 4-1 and 3 straight losses in the first round. If a Devils loss, is that the end for Brodeur.

For the Blackhawks, do they have that good game they know they can play or another tough one, where the score is 2-1 going to the 3rd period. Hawks need to score early to give them some confidence they can fight through the Preds.

I like the Sharks to take over the series now and could put it on the Avalanche tonight, like 5-1 or 3-0.

The Devils down 3-0 to the Flyers late in the 2nd period, Penguins down 2-1 late in the 2nd period.

As we go into the 3rd period, Pens/Senators tied at 2, and Devils down 3-0 to the Flyers.

For tonight, I think Buffalo sends this back to Boston for game 6, I think the Capitals will close out the Canadiens, I say the Canucks win tonight, and the Coyotes win.

For the Canucks and Coyotes, I think both those series goes the full distance, and I can't see the home team losing and winning Game 6 on the road.

The tough decision tonight is which game do I dvr while I'm at hockey, the Phoenix game or the kings game. Can you really go wrong with either?

Sabres and Bruins going to game 6, if the Caps don't score a goal in the final minutes, they will be going to a game 6.

Well for today, I see the Blackhaws starting to get it together and go up 3-2.

the Penguins lost game 5 last year in the first round and won game 6 on the road, hoping that happens today and close out the series.

I think the Sharks close out the series today also.

What a day in the NHL playoffs, Blackhawks score with less than 20 seconds to send it to overtime on the penalty kill, thenk score in overtime to win it. Penguins last year in the first round against the Flyers were down 3-0 and won, this year down 3-0 to the Senators and win game 6 in overtime.

The second round will be the Penguins vs the Bruins-Sabres winner, unless the Canadiens somehow upset the Capitals.

For today, I think the Red Wings will close out the series, and I think we get at least 1 game 7 with the Kings and Canucks.
