Heyward is down to .246 BA with 61 AB's. 4HR & 16 RBI

Colvin has a .333 BA in 33 AB's. 3 HR & 6 RBI.

I'm just saying,Tyler MAY be a candidate for ROTY if given an everyday job.

the cubs need to find a way to get colvin in the lineup every day. the problem is that soriano, byrd and fuk are also hitting well recently. it seems like he will have to settle for 2 starts a week. a genuine left-handed power source is something the cubs need, i hope he can keep up the good ab's. perhaps if fuk keeps up his good play into the summer another team could be interested in him, freeing up some room for colvin if he still looks promising. the cubs outfield looks pretty fucking deep, even if they arent the fastest in the land.

no, but there is something about his swing and approach at the plate that seems confident and genuine. its way to early to make bold predictions, but he looks like has some promise as a big league hitter.

It will be nice when they can put Soriano at DH and play Colvin in the OF during all the Interleague games at the A.L. parks. It's a nice problem to have that there are currently 4 outfielders hitting well. Unfortunately, only 3 can play the outfield reasonably well.

Funny...everyone giggles because of what they perceive is correct! Right NOW the FACT is Colvin is playing better!

James, Colvin is playing well. He's coming along nicely, showing some power (cough HGH), and playing decent defensively. Now instead of a nice prospect coming along you've turned him into "Well He's not better than Heyward Colvin"

This board is like B and B and you are the one guy that says something nutty and it gets applied to all.

I like what Ive seen from Colvin.

Still I like the cut of your crazy jib. 8)

With the way Soriano plays left maybe both should be out there.

Maybe MLB will approve the use of short center field as a position.

Colvin and Heyward get destroyed by ML breaking stuff and the only way they will learn to hit it is to play. Heyward's bat is so quick, once he learns to wait he should be able to get it.

Micah could actually hit breaking balls, he just could not get around on fast balls.

Sam Fuld is too diabeteey to be a full time MLB player.
