Get ready cuz it ain't pretty:

From KC's mailbag:

"I really think the Bulls are going to sign David Lee and some unknown shooter. I don't know why I think this. I know I just crushed the hearts of Bulls fans everywhere. But that nagging thought has been in my head for awhile and you asked so there is my guess."

Oh dear God........please be wrong........

I was actually hoping that they would get Lee, probably because I have a soft spot for white players, but I think he's pretty damn decent, but it would obviously be a "B" move...

Lee is a curious player. He works hard and can hit a 15 footer, and has a variety of drop step moves. It's hard to really build with him because he can't really guard anybody.

He is setting the expectations low so they can hopefully exceed them with their offseason.

I heard Bernsy mention late this afternoon from one of his peeps that Chris Bosh, already believed to be on the Bulls' radar according to CSNchicago.com's Mark Schanowski, might be very, very interested in "playing close to home." "Home" in this case might be the Oklahoma City Thunder. Imagine Bosh on the same front line with Bernsy's buddy Kevin Durant...

KC Johnson is just hanging on the Lebron to the Bulls story until TNT breaks it.

A little off topic, but is the number of Peoria Matt posts < or > than the number of his texts to the Danny Mac Show? :P

I would love to see him and Noah play together. No team would get any rebounds with those 2 on the court.

I hope the Bulls kick KC Johnson's ass in the offseason.

Don't do it my friend. Like Amare he will return to being injury prone and a 3rd tier player.

Amare's never come close to having 6 games in a row like Boozer just had. In the playoffs no less. If Boozer outplays Pau I am officially on the Boozer over Bosh bandwagon.

Besides, he's played in almost 80% of the games the past four years. I dont think thats too injury prone.

You would be officially nuts. I would take Amare over Boozer any day of the week. Why do you think Boozer didn't opt out of his $12M contract last summer? No one would pay him the same or more. The Jazz tried very hard to trade him. Boozer is playing well because they don't really have any other scoring options after Williams. Phoenix has a lot of options beyond Amare.

 Thanks for the Game Logs of 4 and 6 years ago.

I'll still take Boozer, although he came up short at the end of the game against the Lakers. I'm not sure how valuable Amare is, but given his terrible defense I'm almost positive Boozer is more valuable to a team.

First you said never. I found at least 2 occasions where points and rebounds were better for a 6 game stretch in the playoffs. This is the 2nd time Amare has played in the playoffs since the 06-07 season. He has scored better in every playoff series but his rebounding hasn't always been 10+ a game.

He struggles to get 8 a game. 10 is asking alot for him. And I said Amare has never played 6 games in a row like Boozer just did. I thought you were smarter than equating Points + Rebounds = Complete game. Amare is atrocious defensively, Boozer has always been about average, and this year is playing smarter and tougher defense than ever before, so I'll stand by my original statement.

 Unless I can show you tape that means that Amare never had a better 6 game stretch. You really know how to move the goal post. I think sometimes you get caught up in the now and forget about past performances. I saw Amare destroy Duncan in his prime in a way I've never seen before or since.

......And they lost the series cuz Duncan and others destroyed him and Nash on the other end. To be considered great you have to play both sides of the court. Thats why I'm always surprised by the amount of people willing to consider Nash the best PG in the league.

I don't know anyone that considers Boozer a good defender. He has average a half a block a game for his entire career and only a steal a game. That isn't what I would call great defense. Gasol and Bynum are having their way with him too. Nothing about either or their games says good defender. In fact Amare has better defensive numbers. He has averaged a block more over his career.
