As discussed in one of the Sox threads, I'm seeing if anybody wants to get together at one of the bars in the square in Crown Point on Friday May 21st (attn: free ajent, cpguy, MITC, etc...). Gonna be a classic Sox/Marlins tilt and the ever popular Cub/Ranger matchup that night; hopefully a Hawks playoffs game as well.

I've just grown a bit tired of traveling more than an hour to every event, hence the vulgar display of thread title. :wink:

I haven't decided on which bar yet, either R House of Brews, The Registry, The Circle or The Zombie Club (leaning towards R House of Brews). The Registry gets a bit too loud and douchebaggy on Fridays and Saturdays.

Maybe some NWI radio luminaries will be there as well....or not. :eye:

Indiana does have some interesting things to see but I moved from a very big city to Indianapolis (very small compared to my home city) and in my professional living in Indiana opinion, Indiana does suck. People take forever to turn on a green arrow while driving, there's about 20 different accents, the food portions are way too big, a lot of people try to shove religion down your throat, and I could go on. One great thing about Indiana, it's a really really cheap place to live! Other than that, Indiana sux.

Fuck that!! I've moved 5 times in ten years since I've been married. Moving sucks!!!! Plus, I've got a pretty sweet mortgage that's lower than what I was paying in rent last year. I'm settling down for awhile.
