President Obama should make a call to LeBron.

That didn't work with the Olympic committee.

That's because Daley and the gang were complete fuck ups. They didn't make sure they had the votes in the first round. They didn't get the votes because the people they were counting on assumed they would advance. I'm sure the president making a direct call would be easier but he would pay a heavy price for that call. Ohio is a swing state.

Are we even sure Obama is a Bulls fan?

SHAKE THAT spent his 30 minute show last night blasting the Bulls for not having a list of candidates ready. Why doesn't he understand that they probably want a guy who will be a coach that one of the big time free agents will like? Why would the Bulls want to commit to a coach that Lebron or Wade or Bosh will not want to play for? It would be much better to just sit back and at least wait till the playoffs are over.

Nothing about this team's management the past decade tells me anything good will happen this summer. I highly doubt they find a competent coach.

I'm optimistic they will get something big done this summer.

What scares me is this, FavreFan. The Bulls didn't have a head coach in place until after the NBA Draft when they drafted Derrick Rose with the #1 overall pick. That seems kinda awkward when your team drafts and doesn't have a head coach offering necessary input into the players he's going to be dealing with. You'd like to have someone in place by the time the NBA Draft happens at the end of June, let alone July 1st when all those free agents can test the waters. The Bulls have to do this right, although getting the right guy for this job might be a story in itself.

Yeah but you also thought so at the deadline... and last summer.... and two summers ago we were getting kobe.... the year before that KG. Basically we fuck up every summer and dont ever do anything significant.

I think we are looking at a David Lee 5 year/$80 million contract and coached by Avery Johnson.

I'm always Nastimistic. I was depressed after they couldn't land Kobe.

That's a lot of coin to pay David Lee. I really hope we don't get that desperate.

David Lee's a good player with a bad Knicks' team, HOVA.

I love David Lee but I would prefer to knock about 20% off that figure.

It'll be us. I know it will. I would be very surprised and happy if they somehow didnt fuck up the FA/Coaching search.
