Why are people who are in the sports radio and talk radio field so thinned skinned. They get paid to be critical, but yet, when someone like Feder, Cox or Sherman take a critical look at them and thier shows, they cant handle the same heat they dish out.

Here is my list of thinnest skinned radio people.

1. Dan Jiggetts (He was the worse, ask Ted Cox)

2. Mike Muprhy

3. I hate to do this because he is my favorite, Terry Boers.

4. Mike North

5. Steve Dahl & Garry Mejier

They all make their living hammering athletes but cant take it when it happens to them. They need to start being men and stop being pussies!

Ok, add Dan. I do recall him melting down a few times, but I really think he wa staking Terry's lead. Also, I will declare, I am a huge B&B fan, I just think in a whole those who are critical shouldnt cry when someone comes along and fires at them.

Nas, your are sorta missing the point, I am saying these are the guys that go nuts and defense mode when someone like Feder, Sherman or Cox writes a negative thing about them. Dan has addressed some of the articles written about his show and has shown the ability to see their points.

Dan does get personal with callers and so on, I agree with that.



Jesse is like Mike North, whoever writes something negative about him is either uninformed or stupid, but no matter what, it isnt because he is wrong.

Jesse takes alot of crap, but it is deserved and I know you are a fan, but he has to have pictures of someone to still have a job there and with his lack of talent, he best devolp some thicker skin.

I am not debating here, my point is that most radio hosts cant take the heat when the tables get turned on them. Thats all.....Lol

People in radio have massive ego's and are very sensitive. The great rock critic Lester bangs wrote an article about what it takes to be a music critic, if you replace the words "music Critic" in his article, with "talk show host" it's spot on. I'll try and find it for you.
