This isnt a comment just directed at you but I cant believe how many people are saying No Wade. I can understand wanting LeBron, but who the hell do we have to just say No to the 2nd best player in the league? I guarantee if we do get him everybody will be backtracking a year from now when we have 55-60 wins.

Wade is due to break down in at least 2 seasons. IMO he and Rose are very similar players. Since neither can consistently knock down a 3pt shot spacing would be a major problem. Rose's ceiling is D Wade IMO. With Kobe healthy and Durant making a lot of noise Wade isn't the 2nd best player in the league. He actually took a step back this year even though it was a contract year.

While i do basically agree with what you're saying- i have to wonder how different things would be if Wade had an actual team beside him (Rose, Noah) rather than a collection of NBDL scubs (Heat)

I'm not denying the injury concerns are real- I would be terrified. However i'd have to consider the fact that his workload would be decreased and he wouldn't have to be counted on to do everything

Lee scares me in that he puts up a lot of numbers on a horrific team. He gives a good effort and no doubt would be a fan favorite, but should he be a near max guy? Noah might cover up a lot of his deficiencies but I'm not sold on him.

What he does (hustle and grab rebounds) could be done on any team. He can also knock down a jumper. The Bulls don't have to have a low post player that can post up. Especially if they can get a guard that can post up.

I think Wade had some good talent on the Heat. While they didn't have anyone as good as Rose to take off some pressure I would still be cautious about signing him. I would target LeBron and Bosh first and if that didn't work I would try to sign him. He could end up being Grant Hill of this class. He's a top 5 player that comes with AI like bumps and bruises.

Come on people, he played with Haslem. Enough said.

I hope the Bulls have the luxury to think that Wade wasn't a good option.

I can promise you he'd be a better addition than all but about 3 available players and besides one that's debatable.

This is ridiculous. He's been as good as he ever was this year. He's missed 6 games total the past two seasons. You are giving him a label not backed by anything but your presumptions about him getting hurt. Nothing in the past two seasons suggest he is wearing down.

Bagels is right too. Rose would give him a much bigger break on handling the ball and he'd be able to make alot more plays alot easier. Durant is not in his league yet either. Wade wouldnt have done that in a Game 6 that close with that much surrounding talent at home. He'll get there, but not yet. And I guess I'm not surprised that you arent sold on Wade given you think the Heat have anything resembling talent. Beasley is a ballhog thats terrible on D and doesnt rebound. Oneal is done. Arroyo has trouble even staying in the NBA. QRich is done. His team is atrocious.

All of his numbers dropped from the previous year. I'm not just making shit up. This happened during a contract year.

So because his numbers went from being All time Great to Great, you decided he's injury prone and done? I highly doubt he was worried about a contract year, so you can toss that argument out the window. Top 3 players in their prime in the NBA get max deals. Guaranteed.

Those we're not all time great numbers. Most players take their game to another level in a contract year but Wade didn't. Wade takes a beating too trying to carry the Heat. He hasn't played in 82 games in his entire career. He plays an average of 67 games a year. At 28 he is at the peak of his game. It's downhill from here. You can't go far when your best player misses 20% of your games. I never said he was done or that he wouldn't get a max deal either. Let's not change the debate.

I never changed the debate. You brought up the absurd contract year as if it had any bearing at all on his season. He was getting a max regardless, he wasnt sweating the contract year the way a Erick Dampier would, The fact is he hasnt shown any real deterioration whatsoever if you've watched the games. I realize that you've evolved into more of a stats guy instead of an eye test guy nowadays though. Nas would be ashamed.

I back up what I see with numbers. I'm a fan of Wade's. I've said many times I would rather have him with the game on the line than LeBron. Reality is most players peak at 27 or 28. I expect Wade's game to decline in the next couple years mainly because of the load he was forced to carry and then because of age. I don't expect a guy that has averaged 67 games a season to stay healthy for at least 5 years. This is why Wade is likely to stay with Miami. He can get the 6th year and not have to worry about getting a new deal at 33.
