Last night he got booed and the Cleveland fans left early.

Considering I attending almost every MJ home game and every MJ playoiff game, thats something that never happened.

Lebron which coach and house would you like?

I know it is a reach, but still a shot and a better shot if Boston dumps Cleve

I think Lebron is gone if Cleveland loses this series against Boston. This was their year to make the next step, and anything short of a finals appearance should be considered a failure.

It has been my opinion since all this started is how the cavs do, determine his future there. He is poorly coached as well. While Jordan was always the bailout plan, they did try to run plays, which kept the other players in the game and rested Jordan.

The number of time they give Lebron the ball forty feet from the hoop and ask him to do everything is substantial.

Also, despite what he did v the Bulls, his shooting % from 3 in the playoffs is pretty bad and v. better teams.

This full court press should be put on by Reinsdorf NOW! Yes, I know he is not suppossed to be contacted, but what is Stern going to do? Fine his buddy Jerry , what $1 mill? FINE!

Maybe a Barack private phone call? Pippen Statue and leaving one empty space? Some advertising agencys in Chicago make up some fake ads? The Nike people make a call ! And one cool ass edited Video montage of the Jordan years and the fans.

I know this might be the crazy idea of all time, but a give away Tickets to Sox games and a future Bulls game for a SURPRISE reception in the UC for Lebron! With the Video playing. No doubt it is a tough one, it's a long shot, but I like it. Or just announce where his gate will be if he flys to Chicago for a visit.

I can see him wearing his #6 jersey in the house that Jordan built for many years to come.

One year after rooting against the Celtics, Bulls fans should be clamoring for them to knock off the Cavaliers. That surely would deliver LeBron James to Chicago, right?

The buzz surrounding the NBA's two-time defending most valuable player is growing now that the Celtics have grabbed a 3-2 lead over the Cavaliers in their Eastern Conference semifinals series. The Celtics can close out the series at home Thursday in Game 6.

ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard, who is close with members of James' inner circle, fanned the flames early Wednesday in a TV appearance, saying the Bulls are James' No. 1 option should he leave the Cavaliers.

The Tribune alluded to similar rumors last week when it wrote about Kentucky coach John Calipari attending a Bulls-Cavaliers playoff games with James' respected agent, Leon Rose. Calipari is close with James, and Calipari and Rose sat courtside in Cleveland during the Cavaliers' disappointing Game 5 loss.

But any reports about James' July plans are speculative. Just as there is buzz around the league about his respect for the Bulls, there are other reports about James' respect for the Lakers' triangle offense. Or that he hasn't made up his mind yet, etc., etc.

James has waxed effusively about the Bulls' roster, both during a late-season visit to the United Center and against during the Cavaliers-Bulls playoff series.

Stay tuned.

Damnit, HOVA! Don't do this to me! Quick, someone tell SHARK to predict that LeBron will never be a Bull...

Im with you Hack. I hate reading stuff like that, I do not want to get my hopes up. I am working under the assumption that Lebron will be anywhere other than Chicago and the Bulls will be lucky to sign a 4th tier FA this summer.

   Exactly - they'll focus their efforts on trying to woo James to sign here (complete with Benny and the band) and then everyone else just slips right past 'em while James signs with the Lakers  reverse jinx!

lebron has 3 options. stay home or go to chicago/new jersey. anyone that thinks hes gonna play with that knicks team is out of their minds. if he thought his supporting cast in cleveland was bad just look at the bums on that roster.

You are saying New York is not an option, but New Jersey is?

The Nets are a bigger disaster than the Knicks.

Not really. They have some talent on that roster and they will likely have the #1 pick. They are also moving to Brooklyn. IMO the Clippers are the team with the most talent that has cap space. It isn't even close. Their only issue is they are the fucking Clippers.

The Nets are going to be stuck in Newark for two years before they move to Brooklyn - but the Brooklyn facility hasn't even broken ground yet.

Assuming they get the top pick, they'll take John Wall who is projected as Derrick Rose+, but it's still two years before that team will be ready to contend with the very young talent they'll have. Devin Harris can be a trade chip if they draft Wall.

My assumption is that LBJ if he leaves Cleveland, which I still doubt it is to immediately contend for a championship today. His best chance of that is either in Chicago or with the Lakers (s&t involving Bynum). Even if the Knicks bring in Bosh to play with LeBron, they'll still won't be a true championship contender, as they'll lose Lee.

Miami is a wild card. They could be loaded next year or one of the worst teams in the league.

new jersey has lopez who is one of the best big men in the east. they have devin harris who is a great young guard and they have probably a top 1 or 2 pick. so yes they are much better than a roster consisting of eddy curry, danillo galinari and....i cant name another player on their team not including david lee who is a free agent and would be wise to go elsewhere

The Knicks could keep Lee if he is willing to wait because of the Bird Rule. I can't see Kobe wanting LeBron on his team but LeBron and Kobe would really be unfair to the rest of the league. They could just cancel the next 3 seasons. IMO the Clippers with LeBron would be a championship type team too. They also won't have to worry about getting past the Magic in the East. The Bulls would be too but they would still need a couple shooters.

I think there are 4 teams Lebron will play for, the Cavaliers, Nets, Heat, and Bulls. If the Cavs lose tonight or Sunday, or don't beat the Magic, I think Lebron will leave the Cavs. The Nets could be elimintated if they don't get the number 1 pick and I think we will know that on Tuesday. So that leaves the Bulls and Heat.

If the Bulls hold off naming a coach, what I have heard is that if the Cavs lose and Lebron did stay, the next coach would be Calipari or Krzyzewski ( I can't see him leaving Duke though), but what if Lebron wants to leave, then the Bulls could name Calipari coach and there you get Lebron with Rose and Noah.

I would say the Bulls are closer than some people think and Bulls fans you may want to become Celtics fans.

I was watching "The Dan Patrick Show" on DIRECTV's 101 Network and heard this rumor concerning John Calipari. While the Trib's K.C. Johnson reported last week right after Vinny Del Negro was fired that the current Kentucky head basketball coach's supposedly interested in the Bulls' vacancy, D.P. gave us this juicy rumor.

Calipari was spotted at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland Monday in Game 5, watching the Cavs pee in their pants badly vs. the Celtics by 32 points. The scoop is that Calipari's name has been mentioned in the event the Cavaliers fire head coach Mike Brown if they don't make it to the NBA Finals this year. If it means LeBron James staying in Cleveland if Calipari replaces Brown, I'm not sure...The possibility of Brown getting fired in my opinion is legit, so watch this story.

Yes, Shark, I have heard that if the Cavs probably don't win it all, not sure about making it to the finals, Brown would be out, the Cavs would go to Lebron and ask him who he wants as coach and he would say Calipari. Will that pairing be in Cleveland or Chicago.

Calipari + Rose + Noah +++ LBJ = super happy fun-time!

(though, just for fun and not "for realz", wouldn't it be nice if uncle Phil left LA to come back home to win rings in Chicago with LBJ?!? Pardon my brief, giddy "tee-hee".)

I was also thinking when you look at the East, with the Celtics getting old, and the Magic looks like they will have a team for a couple of more years, if Lebron went to the Bulls, that could be his best shot to get to the finals and win one. On the Cavs, I heard Illgauskas may retire, Shaq looks old, Jamison is looking old, and besided tonight's game Mo Williams has looked bad.

The Bulls may be the best chance for Lebron to get to a championship, because it won't be this year.

I was with you until the Phil Jackson mention. I would not root for the Bulls with him as coach again.

He has been to the Finals what will soon be 13 out of 18 years as a coach?

I agree. I don't think Phil would be a good choice for a Rose/Noah/Lebron team. The triangle is a very slow moving offense, you wouldn't want to run something like that with a Rose/LBJ duo.

If MJ/Scottie and Kobe/Shaq can play in that offense none of them should have an issue.

I hear what you're saying but really it has nothing to do with his track record as a coach. He's an all-time great coach but I don't like how he helped to perpetuate the fallocy that the Boo forced him out of Chicago. Also, he's kind of arrogant, which most coaches probably are, but he doesn't really hide it.

I have watched about 45 minutes of espn today and they seem to be going out of their way to put him in NYC while completely dismissing Chicago as a legit option.
