STOP THE DAMN FANTASY!!! John Calipari's the head coach at the University of Kentucky, and is using the Chicago Bulls as leverage. HE'S NOT GOING ANYWHERE!!! Besides, Reinsdorf's NOT paying Calipari or any other veteran head coach on the market $4-6 million a year. The boss isn't stupid! Calipari failed with the Nets & the Celtics...I can just picture it now.

Calipari: "Michael Jordan's not coming through that door! Scottie Pippen's not coming through that door!"

Sorry to burst your bubble, Bear fans...Jay Cutler's not coming to Chicago! :( The Bears can express interest all they want in #6 in Denver blue & orange, but they don't have nearly enough in return to give the Broncos. I don't think two first-round picks will be enough compensation for Cutler. Your starting Bears' quarterback wears jersey #18, and it's not the guy who bowled at the CSFMB Bowling Event earlier this month. Kyle Orton will be the starting QB for the Bears come September 13th in Green Bay.

Hahaha, that's exactly what I thought about too.

That SHARK post was very human-like. Far less robotic than usual.

I think you're confusing John Calipari with Rick Pitino, SHARK.

Douchebag, you are correct. Rick Pitino made a similar postgame diatribe in which he mentioned Larry Bird & Kevin McHale following a Celtics' home loss many years ago...That's my fault.

Do you think LeBron and/or Bosh will sign here this summer?

I think Bosh more likely than LeBron. I've always felt LeBron was staying. This unattributed analyis got me to think otherwise for the first time . . .

It's not a sure thing Chris Bosh is even coming. Bernsy mentioned something last week that the Oklahoma City Thunder might be where Bosh plays basketball next year.

I think he is making that stuff up. He is saying LeBron is faking an injury pretty much to go play with Wade. Supposedly some guy in a front office that doesn't have cap space told him this. Lebron wants to win a title and even if he didn't he doesn't have to do any of that. He could just leave. Granted he could make more money in Miami than he could with any other team but Cleveland but he would have the same problems. Wade and LeBron still wouldn't be as good as Orlando and he would still need some shooters. The Bulls would be the best choice talent wise. Then the Bulls could deal Deng and Gibson and the 1st round pick to Toronto in a sign in trade for Bosh.

They don't have the cap space and he wouldn't be the best player on the team with Durant there.

The reason why Bosh and the Thunder were mentioned in the same breath is that Chris is supposedly from that area of the U.S. Something about playing close to home...

If Bosh really wants to play near his home, then it would be with the Mavs. But the whole idea of NBA players wanting to play close to home is BS, they want to play where they are going to get paid.

And hopefully win. Bosh would have many more endorsement opportunities in Chicago.

True, but I don't think Mark Cuban's Mavs have any salary cap space...

Vinny, the Bulls aren't getting John Calipari, Avery Johnson or Doug Collins for that matter. Your next head coach of the Chicago Bulls is currently in the NBA Playoffs trying to find a way to slow down LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. He's Boston Celtics' assistant Tom Thibodeau.

Does Calipari still overcoach? I know that is the book on him, but when rose played under him and towards the end of the season he seemed to just let Rose and CDR just sort of run whatever...

I have a feeling he would not over coach with LeBron and Rose.

How about on his most recent teams?

I'm not doubting your question about over coaching at all. In the NBA, with those two guys, he would not over coach. Just my opinion.

I've read both things - that he overcoaches, but that he also let his premier players run an upcourt style of play. I honestly don't know what the truth is. I'm not attempting to argue that he will be a roadblock for James and Rose, just trying to get a handle of his strengths and weaknesses in recent years as a coach.
