Bumpity bump bump bump. I've really been in a slump. Now I have to take a dump. (I've really been in a weird mood today. Wish I had the ike south excuse that I was high, but I've never done that sort of thing.)

The Sports Huddle & Stuff is back this Tuesday from 11am-Noon. Richfarmsystem will be running the show (I think). The phone lines are fixed. 8) Call in at 312-567-3088.

Listen online live at: http://www.radio.iit.edu/high.m3u I've heard that Beneath 51's Darkside has it programmed into his phone, so I'm expecting a call. 8)

Our screeners probably won't allow it. :eye:

Of course. Not really sure what's gonna happen on tomorrow's show. It could be a free for all.

I tried to click the link but it just gets stuck in buffering hell.

Starts at about 95% then goes down to 3% and crawls up at about 1% per second.

Ended up loading after about 10 minutes of buffering.

I will now sample the legendary Sports Huddle & Stuff for the first time.

Jumped on to a spanish commercial. Wasn't sure if I was in the right spot there for a minute. Then was greeted with the soft sound of Eaglo Jeff chatting it up with Panther Pisla. hearing two guys who prior to now were only avatars on the board. How old is Panther?

Somehow Darkside's voice seemed livelier than I expected. I would have thought more of a Grizzly Adams tone.

I liked Panther's voice better with the Australian accent. :D

Thanks for listening and calling guys. I thought that Panther was joking when he said Dr. Ken was going to listen. I feel like The President was visiting my house now.

Thanks Panther and Darkside for calling in! 8) Really saved my unprepared ass. I thought that Eric was gonna be there, but he had an emergency of some sort. I originally wasn't going to do the show, but I threw some stuff together.

Sorry about the spanish PSA. Didn't have time to preview it and put it in cue, so I just rolled with it. I had no idea what it was, but I'm sure Spanish Manish would know.

I'm glad that Wimpy is back for some of the games. I miss him with Hawk.

Seriously Ken, why don't you call in and talk about NASCAR and the upcoming race, race that just happened or some nuance you saw in the last race that was unique. Make a little 5 minute segment out of it. If the good Dr. could call in with salient analysis we now have appointment radio on IIT between 11 - noon.

Zook love/hate would be good when in season.

I might be late to the part (not the first time). There is a lot of potential in this little 1 hour show. I only listened for a brief time. Board guys either doing analysis, or just wanting to hear themselves talk to other board types about sports could be real fun. It is the next step up from "live chat".

Eaglo has to slap it up on mediafire - I only caught your last few bits of Cubbish.

It wasn't particularly enlightening...
Velocity down, causing problems...
However, he missed most of ST, only a couple rushed rehab starts, probably just in late spring training shape... he'll come to form once the arm strength builds.
It's all I had. I called to talk about Zambrano. I got all turned around and confused.

Sorry bout that. I think it's because I suggested that if a starter went down that might be the only way that Zambrano came back....went off on a tangent.

While it might be enjoyable, 2 points -

1) The fellas get an hour a week to hit the topics that they want to talk about and I'm guessing that they don't want to waste over 10% of their airtime discussing "Things Dr. Ken Likes".

2) Considering I've listened to about 15 minutes total, I feel a little out of place thinking that I could be a contributor. I don't even call Mac's show and I've been listening for 15 years.

That said, I may call in sometime to discuss Nathan Scheelhaase and whatever happened to Brian Dayett.

Just curious, but how old did I sound? I know that sometimes (esp. when I have cold) my voice comes across a bit high in pitch.

Oh, FYI, I am 33.

U?

fuck...i'm older than you are? what the hell...
my voice is either full of bassy phlegm or pushed with 10kHZ of high end.

Yup, same here. But when I get excited about something - esp on phone, gets a bit high in pitch.

Well, Hanna how many rings on YOUR tree?.

Wasn't trying to get personal. Voice was a tad high from sickness and excitement to get on w/ Eaglo. You were geeked to talk a little fight action. Liver rings suggest 65. Birth cert brings me down to 43.
