brenly and len talked about it during the game, and speculated about him coming back into the rotation perhaps due to a problem with one of the other starters. gorzelanny and silva are both coming back down to earth, the bullpen thing hasnt worked out, looks to me like they might be getting him ready to start again.

i still think it was a nothing-to-lose move putting him in the pen. if it works out, great, a big hole filled. if it doesnt, great, get him back in the rotation. it really just doesnt fucking matter, this team does not have what it takes to win long term anyway. what has zambrano being in the bullpen cost this team really? nothing.

who? North? never heard of him.

I heard today on the WSCR that his new role was going to long relief? WTF? To me, It appears as if the cubs are jacking him around so that he will drop his no trade clause. Some team who is in the hunt may be looking for that one extra pitcher at the trade deadline. Who knows?

This is one of the all time dumbest moves a manager has ever made. Lou is begging for someone to fire him or he has officially lost it all. Either way he should be shown the door and the Ryne Sandberg era should start. How could it ever be good for your team to take arguably the ace of your staff and put him in the pen as a setup guy?

Good call Nas.

So they finally admitted he's going back to the rotation via the long relief roll?? Hendry's running one hell of a three ring circus.

How long is this going to take now. You don't just build up to pitching 7 plus innings in a week. He is going to be pitching 3 and 4 innings for a few starts since he will achieve 70 pitches by then.

What "won" are you talking about, NSDB?

Perhaps, you just didn't get it...
