Just for a weekend or something. I'll keep it real, that's part of my word on this wager.
Two criteria... On base % and batting average. If they split, it's off.
Avatar or signature, must be in relatively good taste.

Sweet. Now for the hard part. Remembering I made a wager.

If Juan Pierre continues to struggle in the leadoff spot, this probably won't sit well with many White Sox fans, but there's one guy I'd consider putting at the very top of the lineup. He's the much-maligned, maddeningly inconsistent Alexei Ramirez. Say what you will about his defense, let alone the lack of walks, but I remember a game in Baltimore where Ramirez led off a game about 2 years ago and got 4 hits in a game. I think Alexei with his speed would be a good alternative if Pierre continues to struggle.

No. Probably would have gone minimum 250-300 AB's had we thought of it.

So a split = a Darkside win right?

Bad bet by steve. JP usually ends up with a hollow 300 batting average.

No-good bet by Steve.....Pierre is playing in a new league, where he is unfamiliar with many of the pitchers. Plus it's proven to be a league where fewer hitters have better stats when switching leagues than the other way around. I like my chances to win it.

So hitters don't have better stats going from the NL to the AL. Pitchers (see your multiple Jake Peavy ramblings) don't have better stats going from the NL to the AL.

That does not add up.
