All I know is that the other fan bases that don't get Lebron James next year should chant "Who's your daddy?" whenever he gets the ball.

That is one of the thing that is better in college. The fan bases are much more inventive even if they go way too far sometimes.

The minutes thing is just an interesting stat to go along with the rumor.

Regardless, maybe the rumor is another factor that pushes LeBron out with the simple "I am sick of this shit"

not that he is not a major star wherever he goes, but I have to imagine this rumor is making Cleveland seem a bit smaller these days.

And has Delonte West said anything? Tweeted? Has Greg Olson said anything?

Wouldn't be surprised if LeBron were in Chicago and even doing some window shopping in potential neighborhoods in the event he ends up here.

But I don't think that means Chicago has a leg up on Miami/New York or even Cleveland. Maybe just LeBron doing some due diligence so that once July 1st hits, he'll have some perspective on eachpotential city and can focus on the details of the franchise/team/contract/coach/etc.

I mean, the other teams aren't even allowed to woo LeBron prior to July 1st? So he has 6 weeks to visit Chicago, Miami, New York and check out the cities.

LeBron possibly being in town might have had something to do with Meatpants and Mac acting like Bernstein was about to fart in church when Bernstein started discussing the West rumor.

Yeah, hence maybe Mac and Meat exercising discretion in talking about the West rumor. Frickin Bernstein might've just singlehandedly cost Chicago LeBron! Image

But if LeBron is looking to escape the non-stop talk speculation and rumors, New York and Chicago are likely just as bad as Cleveland. But Miami? Combine a lackadaisical fan-base with a whole 'nother chill planet aspect of being in South Florida and LeBron might find escaping from the nutty Midwest to South Beach just what he needs.

NBA mothers out of control!!!!!
I wonder if the Suns asked Amare about his mother's profession during pre draft interviews???

Quote:
Phoenix Suns forward Amare Stoudemire's mother was arrested on Saturday in Scottsdale, Ariz., for failing to have an ignition interlock device on her vehicle, according to a report in the Arizona Republic.

Carrie Mae Stoudemire, 54, was stopped at 3:25 p.m. after her Lincoln Navigator was straddling two lanes and going 60 mph, according to the Scottsdale police report. Her eyes were "watery and glassy," according to the officer.

Carrie Stoudemire told the officer the Navigator was rented and she was unaware she needed to have an ignition interlock device on all of her vehicles. She added that she was on her way to an alcohol class.

Police said Carrie Stoudemire's driver's license says she must have the device on her vehicles until Oct. 30.

After Carrie Stoudemire refused to participate in a field sobriety test, the officer handcuffed her and put her in the back seat of his patrol car.

According to the report, Amare Stoudemire and another man arrived at the scene a few minutes later. Carrie Stoudemire began to yell "Amar'e!" and asked for a lawyer.

Police said Carrie Stoudemire was charged with speeding, operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device and failure to drive in a single lane. She was booked into the Scottsdale jail and later released.

Carrie Stoudemire has been in and out of jail throughout Stoudemire's life for charges ranging from drunken driving to drug possession to prostitution.

Calvin Murphy says the story is true. He also says that all the players knew about it, ecept Lebron. He says West will be blackballed from the league now.

Isn't he the same guy that raped his daughters? Who cares about what he thinks?

Of course, as always, take this for what it's worth. One of my best friends heard from a "very reliable" source that not only is this rumor 100%, Delonte might not be the only one.

That would be really terrible but I hope it is true. How can you go back and play for guys who were playing tag with your mother?

Heck, how can you go back and play in that league? LeBron might end up in Spain, playing for FC Barcelona. Or maybe at least escape to a place like Miami, where they don't really care that much about professional sports. Or, better yet, someplace no one would ever be able to track him down: playing outfield in the Indians minor league system.

Maybe it'll give him the mental toughness he sorely lacks. Play with some anger in him. He'd have a title by now probably if he had Kobe's personality and not Dwight Howard's.

I agree. If he had whatever MJ or Kobe has there would be no question about him being the greatest player in NBA history. Neither of them come close to the talent he has.

That's overstating it quite a bit. They arent as big as him but skill-wise I think MJ was as good a rebounder. He's a better passer but both of them are incredibly gifted passers as well. He still hasnt developed as good on the ball defense as they have/did. And he's not as good a shooter as they are. He is probably the hardest player in history to stop going full speed in transition for a dunk though.

LeBron is probably number 1 there but 76ers era Charles Barkley figures into that discussion as well

Charles is in the team picture but I'll take the 6'9'' wrecking ball over the 6'4'' beer gut.

I just think he is a guy that gets by on his gifts. I really don't think he works on his game the way they did. Why would anyone want to workout with Curry? I would be at Hoops working out with Grover or whoever Kobe uses. That's how you get better. At some point your talent will fade and you will need to rely on that hard work. He needs to stop laughing and cut out of the the antics too.
