Speaking of, this is what bothers me about Spada almost as much as the spamming the board itself: he isn't even spamming effectively. Not even a friggin' link to his podcast page, let alone something more newfangled like a twitter feed. He could get in twit-spats with Goff and all the world could enjoy.

Spada, first of all, to use the word professional in the same sentence with Mike North is just dumb. Idiot.

Jason and the two Guillen boys should host a show called "Talking Shit".

Spada:

You come on this board.

Start with a premise of Accusing Jason of something that he did NOT do.

This something you accuse him of you actually did YOURSELF.

And Jason should be hosting a show called Talking Shit?

You should have your law license reviewed. By anyone who even considers hiring you.

PS... Spmack is still looking for those t-shirts.

I think Goff and Larry should host a show called "Talking Race". Dead serious. I'd listen. Those 2 are better at race talk than they are sports. Not saying much but the "Race Talk" show would be fun and different. It's their true passion anyway. They try to drop it in with their sports talk. Mitch should just let them do it as the actual theme to the show.

I like David Spada and Jim O'Donnell. They dare to challenge "Team Bernstein" when most are afraid.

This is my issue with YOU. You seem like a good guy, but you create these issues in your head. Do issues exist at the Score like every other workplace? Yes. But none of the people you listed are creative enough to be interesting or funny.

What does his ability to practice law have to do with his comments or preferences as expressed here, Seacrest?

I think you are over-estimating the importance of this little island of fraternal social media here.

Not trying to sound mean, but would you care to share what YOU toil at for a living so we can compare your comments to your job description?

I would hope PP that being honest and knowledgeable would be a important to someone who was an "officer of the court."

Accusing someone in a public forum of doing things that they did not do, is not a comment or an opinion.

As for the importance of the social media aspect that you mentioned, I'll leave that up to you to decide where it ranks. I would say that it is important know matter where you are, but especially in a court of law, TO GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT before accusing someone.

Wouldn't you?

As for what I do, I wish it was regulated in all 50 states. Unfortunately it is not. And I get to choose my clients. Not the other way around. But I believe that my comments here are judged by others more than most. And I say what I mean. And some people find that offensive. And I respond when it is necessary and ignore the responses of others. And I don't ask board members to use the services that I provide. But if I did, then I would be sure to be upfront with them.

But I did not start a thread, accuse someone of calling me a name that they did not, then call the same person unprofessional for repeating info that is public knowledge.

Savvy?

Secy, do you really think that Spada does not believe what he types? Do you have personal info that directly and incontrovertibly proves that each and every one of his statements is false?

To me it appears that the whole thing was laid out right here for us to see the back and forth. I am not annoyed by either party and I don't think either of them are doing anything other than having fun with it. Goff has an excellent sense of humor and air of humility, and Spada is a shameless and persistent self-promoter, yes, however, regardless of how he may appear, I have no doubt that he is realistic in his expectations. Personally, I like that, but I have always been a fan of those who "fuck with" people for amusement and push on in the face of galeforce opposing winds.

The fact remains, though, that, regardless of how he acts here, it has no bearing on his ability to serve clients from 9am-5pm M-F.

Also, last time I checked, attorneys choose each and every client they get. I turn down about 5-10 clients per day.

Ok, so what do you do for a living? I count you as a Board Bud, but you can't get off that easily.[/quote]

I don't believe that I referred to each and all of his statements. I believe that I mentioned two, that were categorically false on one count and horribly misinformed on the other.

And yes, it was laid out here. He accused Goff of something he did not do. And as of yet, he has refused to acknowledge that.

And i have no problem with him being a shameless self promoter. I have heard that some lawyers find advertising distasteful, but though Judge Willie Green once recommended that I go to law school, as of yet I have not.

Spada aside, I have never prescribed to the philosophy that I don't care what a person does in private, it has no bearing on them professionally. Illinois is full of examples to the contrary. Blago, Daley, Daley's pappy and the list could go on forever.

As for what I do, it's really not relevant. And unless you own a fair amount of for profit real estate or business, it is of no use to you.

Somehow Beardown has really jumped the shark from about 2-3 years ago. What happened to him?

I think the new joke should be 3 years ago now.

Always kind of wondered, a question for "long time guys". What was the first ever post on CSFMB (besides bigfan's welcome page)?
