I have never heard of any of the pitchers who are starting this series for the Rangers....thats my scouting report. Is Dean Palmer still playing?

Cubs will sweep and steal the thunder away from the Hawks.

I leave Wells in there. He hasn't given up a hit (I'm ignoring the blown call) since the 4th and doesn't show signs of slowing. Save the pen.

I would have agreed, but I'm fine with Marshall in the situation also.

Byrd is all hustle.

Good call.

How pissed is Derrek Lee, when the Rangers intentionally walk Starlin to get to him. Don't care if it gets the DP in order, that's embarrassing.

Make 'em pay!

Good deal.

The stat shown of hits/nine innings pitched since 2007 was telling...Marmol was far and away better than anyone. If he gets it near the plate, the opposition does not have a chance.

Nice win. Howry still sucks. Hendry needs to figure the 8th inning shit out. The division is there for the taking.

Square peg, round hole is above Hendry's pay grade, let alone the bullpen. He's a fucking idiot.

i missed most of this being out in portland.

i was at a really cool sports bar on saturday that had captain's chairs lining the bar. normally they could carry the game; but for some reason, FOX changed up what they were broadcasting that day so they covered the later games instead of the mid-afternoon games. We were stuck with yankees/mets. It was funny to hear people come in and when they found out, each said "Fucking FOX". The bartender was ragging on fox as well.
