the only problem i had was i couldn't make out what anyone was saying because it was two phone voices talking over (yelling) each other and it was impossible to hear all the stuff.

it was a LOT of yelling. but as background noise it was entertaining to me.

The guys from Philly out did Mac and Piggy on every front. I'd rather have guys like that who know and talk sports than guys who just talk about themselves...thats what a podcast is for. Maybe back to the basement and the snack trays for Mac.

When those 2 guys from Philadelphia's WIP SportsRadio joined Mac & Spiegs for the SCORE/WIP simulcast in the 10a hour, I felt sorry to a certain extent for our guys. To say Mac & Spiegs couldn't get a word in edgewise would be an understatement.

yeah, they were totally outgunned....laziness gets beaten every time

also it should be noted that gargano and macnow were much more fair minded during *their* broadcast before the simulcast. i think they were just "bringing it" to stir up some shit and make it interesting. they are very knowledgeable about sports--especially macnow. gargano is a little more of the "mac" type.

one thing they got severely wrong was when they were chiding blackhawk fans that they "abandoned" the team and philly never abandoned the flyers or their teams. that is a total lie.

for decades, the phillies were completely irrelevant in philadelphia sports talk; not on par with the "hockey horn" but no one called in about the phillies until about 3 years ago. and with the flyers, for about ten years or so, until they got briere, flyers talk was minimal too. just like chicago, philly is primarily a football town. it's 90% eagles talk, and then everything else. and the sixers are COMPLETELY irrelevant now.

I wonder if the SCORE/WIP simulcast will soon be in the Broadcast Museum... That 10a hour seemed to be as uncomfortable and as awkward as I've ever heard, and I'm a big sports talk radio listener to begin with.
