admittedly, I am not a Ron Santo fan, and wish he would get out of the radio booth.

I was at the game yesterday early enough for the NATIONAL anthem. I saw 2 year old kids take their freakin hats off for the anthem. I looked up into the radio booth and there is Santo with his Cubs hat on, drinking his water, etc... What an asshole. I suppose he didn't have his toupee on, so he felt the need to keep his hat on. Conceited prick.

Go Cubs!

He probably only takes his hat off during "O Canada" and just doesn't know any better.

You think he keeps his legs on in the booth? I can imagine, on these hot days, Ronnie experiencing a little stub chafing...

When a guy is closing in on 80, has had more diseases in a lifetime than 99% of the world, goes to "work" everyday with 2 fake legs, if he stands up, thats a big deal.

On standing: Ron gets a pass being handicapable.
On not taking his hat off: Ron probably didn't want his hair to fall off when he removed the hat.
