Aram is batting .162 through 167 at bats. He has 16 more strikeouts than hits. He has already stranded 5 base runners today. It might be time to come up with a plan B.

Another brutal loss. Pirates are 11 game below .500, but only one loss to the Cubs. It's about time someone goes, or you start sitting people. Heard Bruce say this morning that they might start platooning Theriot and Fontenot at 2nd. If Theriot is that bad, he should be gone. Fontenot sucks, so if you're splitting time with him, you're real bad.

I think Piniella needs to go bye bye. This team is lifeless and needs some kind of spark. I say promote Sandberg and see what he can do. What do you have to lose?

This is basically the same as the White Sox struggling so much with the Indians. They'd both be much closer in their divisions if they could beat teams like the Indians and Pirates.

With games against the Pirates and Astros on this road trip, they need to make a move in the division.

Haven't they already lost the 3 series they have played against these teams this year? Get the kids up..check. Start dealing the old guys... still waiting on that one. Keep shark and grabow away from any game action.... check.

The entitled, highly paid, self coaching and monster run producing tandem of D Lee and Aram are on the bench tonight. Now who is going to drive in all the runs?? Their replacements are a combined 3-4 with a walk and the only 2 rbi's for the cubs so far. It is entirely possible that the pirates could be defeated this evening.

Lou had Marmol warming up to start the 8th, but doesn't bring him in when Lilly gets a runner on. WTF, horrible game management.

I reiterate what I said yesterday, it is time for Lou to go bye bye. Lilly has to be pulled in that situation. Lou has left his starting pitcher in to long numerous times this season, with little if any success. He is supposed to be the mananger and not listen to these "veterans". Not Lou. Time to call it a day and hit the retirement circle...

Yes. This country club needs to go away. I don't think lou is proud of how some of these guys go about their job and how they are playing, but at his age and this point in his career he would rather have guys like him than burn a fire up their ass. He did bench the 1b and 3b today, but he probably called it a day off to rest from the heat or some bs like that. They got rid of Grabow, but by making up an injury to get him on the DL.

Once again, Ricketts should have cleaned fucking house shortly after he bought the Cubs & canned Lou, Hendry & Rothschild. What we are seeing on the field from the Cubs is the result of Ricketts not making the necessary leadership changes when the time was right to do so. Like in business, employees & management both know when the time has come for changes, & that time was after last season. Lame ducks are unhealthy for any organization.

Trade him for Bobby Hill.

Cy Silva mowing down the Pirates.

Soto has smoked two balls today already. Shocking he's a better hitter than Koyie Hill, Lou.
